I just got Andrew Hodges book.
There is a section titled Wonder Woman in Chapter 2.

To her everlasting credit, Wonder Woman both spoke to me and verified the emails' authenticity by sending me the original emails she had obtained, and by putting me in touch with Betty.

Hodges tells all about the emails being posted, who contacted him about them, etc.

In 2003, when they met in Deepak's Internet cafe, he deeply missed his grandmother with whom he had lived in his native Surinam, and the friendly, effervescent Betty was the perfect substitute, Deepak--polite, soft-spoken and helpful-- related well to her. Fro Betty it was as though he were the grandson she herself had helped to raise. The two of them hit it off and developed a pleasant relationship when Betty visited his cafe several times on her vacation--and renewed it a year later under similar circumstance.

Thank you Msmarple and Klaas for finding that rather large article. Still, if all bones found in Arizona deserts were settlers and Native Americans then Phoenix would have zero murders to report. PS, don't tell our tourism industry. So it would appear no police testing was needed or followed up. Also, is there anywhere in the article that reports carbon dating done on the bones? Or is it one more thing to add to the FBI for follow up.

It has been confirmed that the bones found near the Natural Bridge area (called Bok'i Brik) was from the sunken ship "HERO".
The German boat sank en route to Maracaibo, Venezuela on the night of 17-18 August 1886 during a hurricane. Of the 6 persons
on board, only one survived. The investigation was completed by the Aruba Archeologic Museum and Forensic Institute of Leiden. 

i'd sure like to know just how they "confirmed" that.  it sounds about as credible as some of the natalee theories the "experts" of all kinds have come up with about natalee.

Understanding someone's desire to remain anonymous, surely the use
of some wacky inteernet sobriquet like Wonder Woman should have
been replaced by perhaps something like Melissa K. or Glora V.

Simply as an exercise in promoting credibility that would be preferable
to quoting the source of the e-mails as "Wonder Woman"  But then,
Wonder Woman would have lost all that notoriety in the blogosphere
and not been able to be here on our humble Forum fielding our questions
and feeling important
