It's an Acer 5315-2153

It wouldn't have the memory I would want for my primary PC but for the price it's fine for a backup.  So far no problems with Vista but I haven't done alot on it yet either.  The wireless works great and it seems very fast and responsive. 

OK, I decided to see if I could get Dana's show on the laptop.  I had not installed any media players.

I clicked on the link it as it tried to open it made me install Windows Media Player.  Dana Pretzer show opened right up then....no problems at all!

Lala's I wasn't listening close enough to give you a decent recap.  I can download the podcast and crop some sections out and put into photobucket as short videos...could you open those?

Edited to add:  The podcast isn't up yet but I'm sure it will be by tomorrow morning.

Why cant you listen anymore? Did you try to reinstall Itunes or WMP and use that as the default player?
