What Is Going On At Sgt. Peterson’s House Right Now?
by Greta Van Susteren

WFLD says it is a search warrant being executed right now at Sgt. Peterson’s house….we have not confirmed that it is a search warrant and not an arrest warrant…but right now one news organization says it is a search warrant.

Some body may have provided a tip that caused this to occur.

The house would have already been searched at this point.

Or afraid of what he might do later?  Maybe more needed not from that area who would not have to live around him.  Better yet, put him in jail while searching.

I know, I know they have to have evidence and all that but still, then people would know where he was and he couldn't see who was searching.  Maybe they have found something.

I think if Stacy was alive, she would have spoken out by now.

New Search Warrant Executed In Search For Woman

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (CBS) ― Prosecutors say a new search warrant has been issued and executed for the home of a Bolingbrook police sergeant whose wife has disappeared.

As CBS 2's Mai Martinez reports, the Petersons neighbors said investigators arrived at the home at around 8 p.m. Tuesday night. They were escorted by Bolingbrook police. Neighbors also say that Stacy Peterson's husband, Drew Peterson, was not home at the time of the search.

Neighbors told CBS 2 the state investigator police went into the home with a nylon bag and a camera. They reportedly spent less than an hour inside, but when the investigators came out, neighbors say, they clearly had something in the bag but it was not apparent what that was.

This is the second search state police have executed at the Peterson home since Stacy Peterson was reported missing last week. The missing woman's friends and family say Tuesday night's search is a good sign that the investigation into her disappearance is moving forward.

"My street has been nothing but cars to cars, and we've all been in there, in the entire neighborhood really waiting for what's going to happen," said Stacy Peterson's neighbor and friend Sharon Bychowski. "We just really want to make you guys focus that our ultimate focus here is not about Drew tonight. It's really about finding Stacy Peterson and bringing her home."

Meanwhile, volunteers and members of the nonprofit search group Texas EquuSearch spent the day looking for 23-year-old Stacy Peterson, who has been missing since October 29.

CBS 2 West Suburban Bureau Chief Mike Puccinelli reports they may have stumbled upon a clue to the disappearance of Stacy Peterson.

The 23-year-old mother of two has been missing for nine days. Tuesday, more than 40 searchers spent most of the day combing through wooded areas in and around Bolingbrook for any sign of her.

They were joined by professional searchers from Texas Equusearch, a group that's assisted in more than 700 searches around the world. They did find something interesting at a construction site. The founder of the group says he plans to show the find to police first thing Wednesday morning because the area could possibly have been used to conceal a body. However, search leaders would not elaborate on the find.

Also Wednesday, the family of Stacy Peterson is calling on voluntters to meet at Westbrook Christian Church, 1175 Lily Cache Lane in Bolingbrook at 8am to join the search for the missing woman. They say they need all the help they can get.

Pam Bosco, a close family friend of Stacy Peterson's family they still have hope, and while they realize the searchers could return with bad news, they're anxious for any information. "We all need closure to some degree, so whatever the searchers bring to us will be an answer," Bosco said.

She also said Drew Peterson, Stacy Peterson's husband, is not allowing Bosco to see the couple's two children and she expressed concern about Drew Peterson's demeanor.

"I don't think there's been any expression of any emotion," Bosco said. "Drew, if you're concerned, if you're angry, saddened, something, we want to know how you feel, help us, help us find Stacy."

Drew Peterson has not assisted in any of the searches. He said he last saw his wife the morning of Sunday, Oct. 28, and claimed to have spoken to his her that night. He said she told him she was leaving him.

CBS 2 also contacted one of Drew Peterson's sons from his first marriage. He didn't want to go on camera, in part he said, out of fear of his dad.

Friends and family have set up a new Web site, FindStacyPeterson.com, in hopes someone can provide clues into Stacy's disappearance.

Illinois State Police have set up a Stacy Peterson Tip Line at (815) 740-0678.

Searches for missing Bolingbrook woman come up empty
By Matthew Walberg and Erika Slife

Tribune staff reporters

6:37 AM CST, November 7, 2007

Scores of police and volunteers combed more than a dozen areas in search of a missing Bolingbrook woman without success Tuesday.

Illinois State Police investigators searched for Stacy Peterson at five locations—using all-terrain vehicles, cadaver-sniffing dogs and an airplane fitted with infrared sensors—but found no sign of her, said state police spokesman Luis Gutierrez.

Meanwhile, nearly 50 volunteers joined a search organized by a private group, Texas EquuSearch, to comb six wooded areas and three bodies of water around Romeoville and Bolingbrook.

The group's founder and director, Tim Miller, said searchers were looking for any patches of earth that appeared to have been recently disturbed. Miller said a few sites identified in Tuesday's search would be re-examined Wednesday, including one at a construction site.

Investigators Tuesday night executed a new search warrant at the home of Peterson's husband, Bolingbrook police Sgt. Drew Peterson, 53. Will County state's attorney's office spokesman Charles Pelkie said he couldn't offer any details about the warrant.

Peterson, 23, was last seen by her husband on Oct. 28 when she left the couple's home on Pheasant Chase Court to help her sister Cassandra Cales paint a home.

Her husband told police he last heard from her that night, when she called him on her cell phone.

He later said his wife called to tell him that she was leaving him, and that he believed she was with someone else—a statement her family disputes.

Cales pleaded Tuesday for more volunteers after fewer people than expected showed up to join the search, and Miller said a similar missing-person case in Ohio drew 1,800 volunteers. "We didn't have as many people today as we were hoping for, but that's OK," Miller said. "I think the weather conditions held us back."

Sherrie Mills, a close friend of Stacy Peterson, said she has slept only about three hours in the last day and a half, spending much of her time driving around looking for locations where a body might be hidden.

"It's very frustrating," Mills said. She praised investigators for the way they were dealing with friends and family and for their quick response to tips.

"I think the state police are doing a great job," Mills said. "I feel . . . [they are] trying to cover as much ground as they can."

Drew Peterson started dating Stacy Cales when he was 47 and she was 17, and they married two years later. But her family said the marriage of four years had grown troubled, saying the sergeant—married three previous times—was controlling. They said that two days before her disappearance Stacy Peterson told her husband she wanted a divorce and told her sister that she feared for her life.

Gutierrez said investigators went to the Petersons' home Monday with papers for the police sergeant, but no one answered the door. He would not describe the papers, saying only that they were part of the investigation.

Greta,
I want to clear this up. So much happend right before I went on the show, Steph called to tell me that he was running late due to the State Police being at Drew’s. Right after that Drew called me, and contiuned to call during the broadcast.I made a mistake when you ask me the last time I talked to him, I sorry but as my suspicions grow, This is taking it’s toll on me, I feel like I am walking around in a daze. The phone calls that I recieved from Drew right before your show shook me up. ( yes I have access to my phone records to prove he was calling me.)

On Greta last night, when she interviewed Ric Mims, Mims was tripped up when asked when was the last time he spoke with Drew.

Question:  Who is Mim's looking over at when asked again about when he spoke to Drew? Could Drew be staying at Mim's house right now?

Not sure.  If he was looking over to another room, maybe someone was watching from afar, through a crack in a door.

Mim's is definately looking at someone for reassurance.

He admits talking with Drew Peterson.  Why haven't the police traced his telephone calls?  Or, are we to assume the only people he is talking to are Gretta's staff?  Someone needs to set this man down for a long talk.

Update from Bolingbrook, Illinois…. From The Producers on the Ground There
by Greta Van Susteren

If you watched last night’s show, you know that last night (about 8pm-9m central time) another search warrant was executed at the home of Sgt. Drew Peterson and his missing wife Stacy. Sgt. Peterson was NOT home at the time. Something was carried out of the house but we have no idea what it was.

Right now our producer and former LAPD Mark Furham are on the ground in Bolingbrook continuing to cover the story. They are speaking to people who know Stacy and Drew…family members….neighbors….searchers…police etc. (And here is a tease: Steph just called me with, “you won’t believe this!” He then told me and I agreed it was weird….and said, “get a second source.” If what Steph told me can be confirmed, there is another very strange development in this story. (It is so strange that I dare not mention it until we are 300 per cent sure!!) Check back here because I will post it the SECOND we get it second sourced.

I agree he is looking at someone.  Was he looking at someone who set up the camera in his house.  I found this guy to be very strange and he was hiding something.  I keep watching his actions and I did notice when he slipped up.  What I am wondering is if this guy help his friend dispose of her body.

It would be scary if this guy was hiding in the house all this time while the fox crew was there. Shocked
