Landfills in the area, from a site -

Quote
For waste sites other than landfills, completeness is unknown. This data set contains a point for every landfill in the Illinois CMS database except for 40 landfills for which only street addresses are available. Point locations for these 40 are being determined by the IEPA, and this data set will be updated when the location information is available. Those not included are:

Neighbor Who Found Savio Speaks Out
Carcerano: 'It Was Something I'll Never Forget'

POSTED: 10:13 pm CST November 8, 2007
UPDATED: 11:07 pm CST November 8, 2007

CHICAGO -- A man who said he was there when a Bolingbrook police sergeant found his third wife dead in a bathtub told his story to NBC5's Anna Davlantes Thursday.

Kathleen Savio, who was married to Sgt. Drew Peterson, was found dead in a bathtub of the couple's home shortly before their divorce became final. Savio's family has said it wanted the case to be reopened. With the disappearance of Peterson's wife, Stacy, authorities have turned their attention to Savio. Questions have mounted about whether Savio's death was truly accidental.

At the inquest, Savio's sister testified that her sister told her "if she should die, it may look like an accident, but it wasn't.

"She was terrified of him. He always threatened her."

Steve Carcerano, who was Peterson's neighbor when he was married to Savio, said finding the body would be forever fused into his memory.

"It's something you'd see in a movie; it was something I'll never forget," he said.

Peterson has summoned his neighbor to the house, because Peterson said he hadn't heard from his estranged wife in nearly two days, Davlantes reported. Peterson told Carcerano, who was a locksmith and was going to be at the house soon, to open up the house and see what was going on.

"I went from the closet to the bathroom," Carcerano said. "It looked like there was a rubber exercise ball or something in the whirlpool. When I looked down, it was Kathy. She was naked -- she was dead -- hair over her face."

Carcerano, who said Peterson was steps behind him when the body was discovered in the home that Savio and Peterson owned, described Peterson's reaction when he saw Savio's body.

"He ran upstairs and upon seeing her, he just broke down and started screaming, 'Oh my God, oh my God! What am I gonna tell my kids?'" Carcerano said

The Will County coroner is challenging the accidental ruling (no comma) and said in a statement on Wednesday that "certain aspects of Kathleen Savio's death raised concerns for me as well. In my professional opinion, having served at the time as the coroner for 14 years, it was my opinion that, at the very least, her death should have been ruled 'undetermined.'"

Carcerano said he has never thought twice about Savio's death being ruled accidental, until now.

"It certainly makes you think," he said. "I'm not going to sit here and lie about it."

Davlantes reported that official records document a history of alleged abuse in the marriage, and Savio's family said it would like to have her body exhumed to allow the coroner to reinvestigate her cause of death.

He is blaming the media for his 25 pound weight loss?!?!?!?! AHAHAHA, whatever the media is doing to him, I'd like them to start doing it to me !

This guy is sounding more and more narcissistic, every time he opens his mouth. He actually thinks HE is the victim! He thinks the sun comes up just to hear him crow!

A few more thougths about the tollway extension -

355 extended past '55' (from Klass map) to '80'...opened to bicycle/runner for opening celebrations this weekend - 12 mile stretch.  Not open to vehicles yet.  Exits are to farmland.

Landscaping is not completed, so could someone bury a body there?

Accross the street from the new mall there is a lot of construction, retention ponds, a wetlands between Janes Ave & 355 just south of the Meier grocery.  Did anyone search the wetland/retention?

There are also a lot of sewer line construction, big box retailers, etc.

Whiskeygirl - thanks again for that info.

If I don't respond to a post in this thread it's because I'm busy watching the CTV forum, Gretawire, the NH thread and the front page of SM.  Also checking RU and 24ora on occasion.  So I can't really interact, only bring article and info to the thread.

Thanks for understanding  Wink

A few more ideas ~

What vehicles does DP have access to as a police officer?

Do any of these vehicles ave GPS or other location tracking that might offer some clues as to where he may have been at the time Stacy disappeared?  The time leading up to her disappearance or the days after?

Perhaps part of a 911, computer aided dispatch system?

Perhaps their personal vehicles had some kind of tracking system as well?

Klass...thanks for all you do.

Helpful post by Snicker at CTV:

To the best of my knowledge:
Wife #1 - Carol - two sons with DP, one of which is the PO who has reportedly taken care of the younger ones during this ordeal
Wife#2 - Victoria - no kids with DP
Wife#3 - Kathleen - two sons, both teenagers now and Stacy adopted them after Kathleen's death
Wife#4 - Stacy - one daughter and one son
Two additional children of DP, mothers unknown
Total DP children = 8 per Kathleen's sister

CLTV just reported live that ISP has called off tomorrow mornings search for SP. They would not comment why but CLTV states ISP asks people not come out for search.

Interesting.  I wonder if they are taking a day off because TES is or they are tired.  OR does it mean they know something?

Or does it mean nothing at all?

I actually listened to the video and they did say it.  Tomorrow is Veterans Day and there are activities in Bolingbrook.  The church which is the command post was holding services.  TES is taking a day off.  I just think it's due to those reasons and nothing else.  TES will be back searching Monday.

Stay tuned.......There is a specific reason ISP called the search off.

I have no doubts it is unrelated to 355 opening. That would have nothing to do with anything.

My prediction was that there would be charges/an arrest by Monday.

I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I hope they have someone watching the certain areas they want to search.  I feel uncomfortable with them taking off.  This guy has friends in many places and lord knows what they will do if they know they aren't searching especially if they were getting close to where she was.  Look at what Aruba did they moved the body.

Monday is Veteran's day, not Sunday, right?  Maybe they just don't think enough would search on a Sunday?

But people are off from work on Monday I think so they could then, lots of them.

Specific reason does sound like something should be expected tomorrow, however, so we shall see.

I just with those two little kids were not in the care of this very strange and violent person who is their father.

Yes, as you can see I am having trouble sleeping.  Laughing

This guy is a combination of Joran and Dennis Jacobs.  He is a dirty cop and no one is going to tell me that his fellow officers don't know.

As far as I could tell -- and I just came home from there after being there since Monday -- the ISP has not done a thing to support the search. As a matter of fact, I went with Tim to an interview in front of Drew's house yesterday and we got there just in time for it to start --it was live -- Tim parked on the curb where the cul de sac curved. The ISP told someone else that was with us that Tim needed to moved his car because he was parked too far out in the street from the curb. WTF!!??? So there's the support from the ISP!

Also a suspecious spot was found--suspecious enough to call in LE to check it out. This was the first time they were called out all week for anything. I went with LE and Tim to check it out and LE said that yes it did look like it could be something and they would take a good look at it on Tuesday. Again WTF????!!!!

(Can you tell it frustrates me? LOL)

It must be frustrating to see this happen.  Did anyone take pictures of the suspicious spot?

I'm not familiar with how the ISP operates other than the service they provide on the tollway.   Wink

I wonder how they schedule technicians?  A suspect spot could relate to a number of missing persons cases and perhaps to some unknown person that was dumped.

Would the ISP go out and tag or identify the spot?

Marlee - Thanks for helping with the search and taking the time to share your experience here.  I pray they find Stacy.
