He was 'taken' at his appt and handcuffed, then driven to the police station.
He did not resist arrest if that is what Joe T. means with 'voluntarily went'.

He did not receive a letter in advance, the decision for the arrests was made Wednesday, so the timeframe would have been to short for letters, besides that the OM mentioned it was a surprise arrest.

Haha..Good question.. I think she has a good contact in Holland that knows about this Investigation I think she has always provided credible information..IMO

Lazlo is very credible and does appear to have some inside contacts in the Netherlands.  Lazlo tries very hard not to give false information.

Yep.  If IIRC it was the blue/white shoes that were the new shoes.  But the white shoes that he had on in the Greta interview were the old white k swiss shoes.  I've always felt that the smug little sob had on the shoes in question.  Wish I knew how to find the video of Joran coming into the casino.


Hi Everybody!!  Hope ya'll had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  IIRC the video of Joran entering the casino are white tennis shoes.  Image wasn't very good, but that's what I think.  Don't see why he would have changed is shoes.

Joran had plans that night and he knew the end result of the evening would be dropping Natalee off on the beach.  What if he didn't want to wear his new sneakers because they would get dirty.  Maybe he kept this specific pair of sneakers for the times he had to go on that dirty beach.

Someone, Jossy, maybe?, said last night that Joran was picked up at his apt. in Holland which contradicts the letter. Also, I really believe that Mom and Pop VDS would have been at his side if he were responding voluntarily to a request.

Do any of you remember in Joran's interview with Greta, Joran said flatly that he would no longer cooperate or talik with the police? I remember it and I doubt very seriously he responded to a letter voluntarily.

Wasn't is said when they did the 1st search of his Apt. that they found one shoe with blood on it and then we didn't hear anything.

I am confused.

My perspective of Lazlo’s theory ... He/she distances Joran from implication … undermines the motives of an anquished mother … implicates the Mountain Brook students and … implies that Natalee was ultimately responsible for her own demise. In my opinion ... Lazlo’s theory is reminiscent of Julia Renfro and Angela's article/video ... "The Other Side of the Holloway Case".

Yep, IBE, actually there were weird references to the "shoe". I've also heard the shoe reffered to as shoes, but yes, there was a shoe that apparently disappeared along with the bone, belt, and blood.

I fully comprehend that Lazlo is contradicting Anita van der Sloot who cannot be considered a reliable source.  However ... who is Lazlo?  What foundation does he/she derive what is obviously inside information?

To be honest I have only paid attention to her on Breaking News reports and not any of that you are referring to. It has always been good info that I have seen. I scan pretty fast when I read at that site though and I dont pay attention to  her regular everyday posts.

Like this report of Joran being arrested at his residence. I have seen maybee 4-5 other sources say the same thing.
