Last song and dance for Joran,Deepak and Satish

Here at SM we have never bought the PIMPS song and dance routine and it appears the Dutch Investigators and new Aruban Prosecutors and Court aren't either.This Holiday season it's time Natalee finally gets her justice. There will be no Sinterklaas and Eggnog for those that hurt Natalee and lied about it. Only a prison sentence.

ORANJESTAD -  Joran van der Sloot, verdachte van betrokkenheid bij de verdwijning en dood van de Amerikaanse tiener Natalee Holloway, is zaterdagochtend rond vier uur Nederlandse tijd aangekomen op Aruba. Dat melden ooggetuigen op het vliegveld. De jongen is direct naar de gevangenis vervoerd.

Vlak na vier uur verlieten drie geblindeerde personenauto's met hoge snelheid de poorten van het vliegveld. Volgens beveiligingsmensen ter plaatse zat Van der Sloot in één van de wagens. Journalisten op de Antillen melden dat de Nederlander twee uur vertraging had opgelopen doordat hij op Curacao van vliegtuig is gewisseld.

Het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) op Aruba was niet bereikbaar voor commentaar. Naar verwachting wordt Van der Sloot maandag aan de rechter-commissaris op Aruba voorgeleid, die hem verder zal verhoren. Mogelijk komt dan ook de verlenging van de voorlopige hechtenis aan de orde.

Anna Thanks for the update from Pearl at BFN that it is Judge Smid. I too would feel a lot better if it was one of the new judges. Is it intentional that it is just being reported as 'a judge'? If Greta's on her way maybe we should email her and she can verify.

They found some discrepancies, Mos said.  As part of their work, investigators returned to the homes of the suspects to try to re-create transmissions.  The team also discovered that some existing evidence was improperly analyzed, he added.

At 2:34 am on May 30, 2005:

1. jvds disconnects from 8 minute cell phone call w/ deepak, at 2:34am

2. deepak disconnects from same 8 minute call w/ jvds, at 2:34 am

3. Valentijn vds logs on to sloot home computer and signs into hotmail account, at 2:34 am.  He remains logged in for 33 minutes, until 3:07 am.

Interesting set of coincidental digital activities, IMO.

JQK said the other nite the new evidence was something you could "touch."  I guess you could touch wiretap results but I was hoping for physical evidence.  The missing drivers license has been on my mind the last few days along with the shed next to JVDS' apartment.

Observor, a friend sent that elf yourself to me last year and I made my son look pretty silly, I still remember sending it to Klaas and San  but I think it's too good for Joe T and K2  Elves are generally good peeps 

I think Joe T's been trying to get a primetime show on the cable networks for years now and Joran's been a means to an end for him in that regard.  So let's keep writing in to complain about him so his dream can't come true.

I would think that the only evidence that the dutch were privvy to in the beginning was what was forwarded to they or the NFI, in Janssen's trips across the pond. Just as we've always seen there was no logic nor best practices in what the ALE did, it had to be apparent to the KPLD if they intended to make this go away then they needed to re-examine for gaps in the ALE and Janssen. It may have been political too, between Jacobs and Stratten there certainly was enough opportunity and from those involved on Natalee's behalf, obviously it appears they were deliberately incompetent at times?

I would truly hope that after a year of effort that the KPLD would have turned over every rock, every hard drive, every cell phone, every possible informant. I think it will be political and tourism suicide if Mos makes these bold statements and then the whole case goes "POOF" again.

One would think the dutch realize this, hopefully Mos does and that the hearts and psyches of those who so loved Natalee can endure this one last roller coaster ride.
