This whole drugging and raping of innocent girls is quite the game in NL now, isn't it?  I've always contended that was the game these perps played on Aruba.  It's actually a well-known scenario in most tourist hot-spots.  I was warned about it before we went to the local bars for the evening when I visited Cozumel on a cruise 20 years ago.  It's about time authorities got tough on this game and stopped tolerating the locals preying on tourist women.

I have a Shango question for you. The phrase "Mary who was not a Virgin" has bothered a lot of people. I've wondered for a while if that could have been Shango's way of saying Natalee was raped. What do you think?

Personally, I don't think Shiz has been accurate at all. Sorry Shiz, Still like ya!!!

His theory has to include the beach if I am not mistaken and I don't see them ever on the beach except to possibly meet a boat.

And that could have happened at anytime after 2:34 am, but most likely not until much later. Some how the phone triangulation placing him on the beach is not correct in my opinion. That tower could actually place him in a wide circle around it and not on the beach. If I am also not mistaken, this tower is one of the largest on the island and could possibly pick up calls that over lap other areas. For instance -  poor reception at one tower may possibly be picked up by this much larger tower more easily.

It could also place the actual person carrying the phone (not Joran, but Paulus) in that vicinity and in a car.

Somehow, the triangulation moves too fast from tower to tower to be someone on foot - in my opinion.

There are several things with that timeline that are not in sync with what I have come to believe but among the main ones, the beach theory.  Also never thought Natalee attracted to Joran in the least.

But if the wind was so strong it required shelter to make a phone call and be heard, doesn't sound very romantic and could explain why no one was out at that time of night in that location.  We're evidently not talking a balmy breeze if it would require shelter to make a phone call.  Joran would know the wind condition on beaches at that time of night or should from growing up on island.

We have seen nothing close to a professional analysis of the phone and computer records.

I also think the one getting close to Joran was someone in The Netherlands now after thinking that over.  It is someone we don't know of as yet.

Why no arrest of Paulus?

Until these suspects are ALL officially CHARGED with a list of crimes as long as my arm, I am not biting.  And even then, I will still be skeptical that this is just another one of your dog and pony shows.

Aruba has done absolutely nothing in the last two and a half years that tells me I can trust a damn thing they do or say. 

Charge and convict at minumum the 4 (YES FOUR) suspects and you will regain a very very small amount of credibility again.  Convict more than just those 4, and i'll give you even more credit.  We know there had to be more than just those 4 involved cause not a single one of them owns a boat.

Once you finally convict at least those 4, I can finally turn my back on you and forget you and your disgusting little island forever.

Anna, I don't think they did all they could to analyze the phone/computer records the first go-round. The technology was there–-why didn't they avail themselves? Oh yeah, I forgot...cover up...

I think that as soon as Joran went to the NL, they had someone in place over there to infiltrate. And it's also possible that one of Joran's friends from Aruba who wasn't really his friend worked with this person to help them gain Joran's confidence.

Keep in mind that since those events were true with some other victim some other time (other than not having included Natalee Holloway) he could be questioned even with a polygraph machine, and odds are good even drugged, "successfully" according to what the criminal wants believed to be true.

Let's look at that for a minute...

Several people have interpreted it to mean that she was not a virgin in the most literal sense...but I think it is more in line with the fact that she was an innocent person in all this.  She was just a young girl that was taken advantage of and had no recourse but to go along with what happened because she was powerless to stop it.  She was not the Virgin Mary, but she was an innocent person...thus the Mary reference. 

Shango spoke in riddles and innuendos and images...he was using the Virgin Mary image of innocence to indicate that Natalee was powerless to do anything to stop this once the game was in place.  Shango also indicates the "deflowering" of forbidden fruit.  That is another literary-type reference to being raped or having innocence taken from a young girl.

Of course, it's all subjective and I am no Shango expert by any means.
