No NYC - you did fine.  It's just really hard to translate Pap  Wink

Well, I understand. Yes Papia is hard to translate, because the languages has around 5 languages in it. French, Portugese, Spanish, Dutch, and English.

I will concede that Holland and Aruba are truly seeking justice for Natalee Holloway if ... Paulus van der Sloot and the sons of the elite are arrested for their participation in the events of that fateful morning when an 18 year old American citizen went missing.

DANIELS: It definitely smells that way. You know, if you take the prosecution‘s statement at its face, we are talking on a whole new level, the charges here. We are talking about drugs. We are talking about rape and we are talking about rape of many different people. There are four guys now in custody, four best friends. What does that tell you?

MANSUR: Well, what it tells me is that, really, these four guys are friends. They belong to the same group, these party boys that go out and prey on young, unsuspected girls or other kinds of girls also that are out to have a good time, not suspecting what they‘re in for with these predators around.

And they are—they not only appear in photographs together, but I understand that Freddy lives very near to the Joran house. So, there is a bond between them. There is a group that they call themselves the pimps, in which all of these participate.

im going to get a match and go light a cigar up right now

thats how good i think the news will be ..soon enough

i dont even smoke cigars, but it seems like a good idea  Cool Laughing

I agree!!  I think that they may not be messing around this time...

I'm putting my money on all THREE of the suspects being held to the fire this go 'round.  I think Joran's "Get Out of Jail Free" card has finally hit it's expiration date.  Even his Mr. Magoo looking Papa ain't going to be able to help him this time!!

Of course, that's only my 3 cents!!  Wink

So far it sounds like the K2 aren't talking. If their lawyer said the new evidence isn't enough to issue them a parking ticket.

Do you think they have seen everything?

Jossy is saying it is phone calls from what the defense lawyers are saying.

He said the Chief Prosecutor has said they have new evidence.

Shep said he is wondering why they are saying she is dead now.

Jossy doesn't think they are doing all this just to close the case.

That also struck me as odd...considering all the time that has passed.  Could some of these taped phone conversations include any references to her being in fact deceased?  Why all of a sudden?  Gosh, I'm hoping I'm right...

Very possible...remember Van der Strattens comment - "because I have seen the evidence"  They are looking at new and old evidence.  Maybe it all just ties it together...\

I think the admission that she is dead is huge.

I don't think so.....I don't think MOS has to give them everything...not at this point...just what he is presenting to the judge to ensure further detention

that makes sense, wait till Joran gets there so he doesn't learn anything before being questioned.

Hi Thirdstrike,  I don't have a quote handy, but in the original link that talked about the charge being voluntary manslaughter, it also mentioned having done something like gross bodily harm to her body which caused her death.  That makes me believe this new evidence is information that notes what this is.  IMHO

Again, taking a step away from this case gave whomever is now actively investigating it a new, fresh look at what evidence they have, and what new evidence was gathered.  I mean...if you really think about it...would they make these re-arrests based on minimal, irellevant information?  I know they've proven to be umb.  But, that dumb?  I pray not...

Hello Scandi!!  Nice to meet you...Wink

I think this is a very good point!!  If what they now have is nothing, why the specific description regarding what they believed happened to Natalee?  There's got to be some information guiding them...

I've always thought that Natalee's death was unintentional.  Sure, Joran and the brother's Kalpoe were responsible.  But, I don't take them as cold blooded killers.  IMO, they drugged and raped her, and the excessive drugging contributed to her death.  I think these "new" charges reflects that theory.

Thoughts?

The way I understand it .... Mos has to dole out the evidence
a little at a time because he has to present something new to the
judge each time he asks for further detention.
