this would be BOMBSHELL evidece.  If their cell phones hit towers off the shore of venezula.

Blah ... if the  Dutch and Aruban administrations were serious in regards to their desire that justice for Natalee Holloway prevails ... an outside investigative agency ... one whose members have no personal or professional relationship with Paulus van der Sloot would be requested.  I cannot comprehend how the Dutch and Arubans are allowed to investigate ... prosecute and ... judge their own.

MANSUR: Of course, they were friends. It stands to reason they were friends because Paul Van Der Sloot had many friends within the police department; he had many friends within the Department of Justice. And he had many friends with -- and he was friendly with all the judges in Aruba. He worked out of the same office as they did and did the same work

If they do not invite the FBI to help, then it is glaringly obvious that they are still trying to hide something.  Just look at all the cases outside our borders since Natalee has disappeared where the FBI was invited to help.

I think it's possible. It depends on what network they were on and if Setar or Aruban phones are allowed to work on Venezuelan towers. I would imagine they have a roaming agreement with Aruba and the neighboring islands. I can't imagine a tower working that far out but a couple miles of the coast of Venezuela sounds possible. Nothing to obstruct these towers if placed close to coastline except miles of ocean(No Hills)

If, by the end of this week, Paulus is not in jail, someone with a boat is not in jail, and there is no confirmation of the FBI being on the island, helping with interrogations, then we could assume this is all just another show.
