Y'all disappointed in Mos?  I am not feelin that at all. He sounds very confident.

I think they are more worried about the 12/31 deadline.  I don't worry about that so much.  Even if the case is closed, it can be re-opened if Natalee's body is found. AND, I don't think the case will be closed.

I THINK HANS IS FOS

San, don't hold back, hon, you're among friends. Go ahead, express yourself!  Laughing Wink

I'm confused,  Why do you he's FOS, San?  I know most reactions have been pretty positive.. Just curious... Wink

Because I don't like him and that's good enough for me  Laughing

Alrighty then! Smile  I was wondering if something specific...   Wink

This 31st deadline has me bugged.  I think he set that date because the Kalpoes went to court and basically want to be released from this case.  Why would he say he promised the lawyers.  Who cares they are murderers.  If you have more time then leave them hanging and forget about making a date.

But that's only if nothing big breaks.  There is a chance they get info in the interrogations and the TES search!   The Dutch didn't do all this just to meet a deadline that MOS set for himself.

At the end of the day Mos makes the final decision no matter what the Dutch have discovered.  In my opinion he is setting everything up to close the case.

I'm the only one disappointed in him.

No, no, no.  You are not the only one...I am too.  I have been so high these last few days thinking this was gonna be it...but after that interview...I am not as happy or confident.  In fact, I am a bit depressed right now.  Sad

Where is Robots?  I am not nearly as confident as I was before listening to Hans Mos...I am getting the idea that nothing will be done...just another roudn of window dressing and then...bye bye to this case....somebody please tell me I am wrong....oh please!!!!

Lalas

You're wrong.  Very Happy

Okay, thanks.

I truly do think Mos is a smart man. He doesn't seem to me to be the sort to go into this without something good up his sleeve. He's just not going to give anything away.

I think Kock is disappointed because he got stuck with the lamest of the three. He looks sour. He is very hard to understand.

Those defense lawyers are just wishful-hoping; it's their job to spin things.  Just because they say something certainly doesn't mean it holds water.  The prosecution has something important.  Think about it; why would they rearrest those three unless they really believed they could prove a case against them?  Aruba has had a great deal, to put it mildly, of adverse publicity regarding this case.  They would not stir it up again just to risk more bad publicity.  They may still try to clear the son of the former judge (or is that former judge hopeful?) and put the sole blame on the Kalpoe brothers, but someone is about to be held accountable for this crime.  If this new prosecutor has the integrity he has tried to come across as having, he won't allow the Van der Sloots to get away, either.

I really think that no matter who the prosecutors are, who is arrested, what new explosive evidence they have... and what discrepancies there are.... none of us will be happy until we see it DONE!  We all have a right not to trust and to question why.... but in our hearts we are all hoping they get it right this time....just imagine if we feel this way... how Natalee's family must feel... We just need to keep the faith....

For some weird reason, I don't mind Koch - all he said was that they have nothing against my client (he doesn't know what is in Deepak's folder).  Koch is much more tolerable to listen to than Joe T.  From the beginning of this case, I have never minded listening to Koch - weird.  Koch also admitted that he doesn't have all the stuff about his client - he could get more later.  I hope he doesn't win the appeal and get Deepak back - they have to keep everybody separate no matter what.

I'm feeling very confident.  He's a very smart guy.  The rest are all surprised and all shook up.  He is cool as a cucumber.  They're going down!

Yes, he certainly did. Said the father is involved one way or another.

David Koch did not look too pleased.  He was not his overly confident self.  Is Joe T. running investigations down there and coaching these attorneys on how to handle this?  Why was that Levine guy on talking?  Did he do the investigation in Aruba?  Is he maybe Joran's bodyguard and been with him in the NL?  Very strange that Joe has so much power in Aruba all of a sudden.  What is going on here?  I like Mos but I am starting to have a few worries about what is going on.  Maybe this came up because of the search and they didn't want to look like the incompetents they were?
