My DH and I attended a "Hanger Hop" sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force, in San Marcos, Texas in honor of Veteran's Day.  The small airport cleared out it's great big hangar for a barbecue, dancing to music by the Sentimental Journey Orchestra.  There was a swing dance contest.  Very touching was the playing of "Taps" , which brought tears to many eyes, and there was also the MIA's and POW's honored.  There was a wounded warrior's table.  Some of those at the table had missing limbs, burns and they were so very, very young.  The night was very rousing in the support of our troops and yet sad for some of our armed forces that were wounded, dead or missing. 

The Sentimental Journey Orchestra is playing in Kerrville, TX for New Years.  They are a full orchestra and here is there website:

Here is a link to the Commemorative Air Force and the first page has a photo of the Orchestra, along with other information.  http://www.realtime.net/centex/  It was really very wonderful to spend time together with a large group of people to honor our Veterans.
