Where is the evidence that she's dead? Both prosecutors, both police chiefs say she's dead but provide no evidence.

Joran's story have no evidence. There is no evidence of Natalee's existence after she left with the 3?

I find your deception disgusting because certain people are using this as a fundraiser. I do not believe that there is any way that you have a legitimate lead about the location of Natalee's body.

Perhaps I may set the record straight.  I am the geophysical engineer on board the Persistence.  I have been watching these posts for quite some time without getting involved.  I appreciate free thought and their expression.  However, this is slander and libel.  This search is funded by generosity and driven only by the desire to bring closure to the family.  Before you post please consider who may be reading it.

Don't get down yet folks. We still have over three weeks left before they decide to take this to trial or not. Also within 3-4 days the largest ocean search effort will take place off the aruban coast. I still think there is a chance both efforts will be successfull.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (CNN) — One of three young suspects arrested Thursday in the investigation into the disappearance of an Alabama teenager has confessed to her murder, a senior police official said late Friday.

The suspect has agreed to lead police to the body of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway, the police official said.

Police did not say which of the three confessed.

The three have been identified as brothers Satish Kalpoe, 18, and Depak Kalpoe, 21, and their friend, 17-year-old Joran Van Der Sloot, the son of a judge.

The three, taken into custody early Thursday, were the last people to have reported seeing the missing woman.

Police said Van Der Sloot met Holloway May 29 at the casino in the Holiday Inn where she was staying. The Mountain Brook, Alabama, resident was in Aruba with classmates celebrating their high school graduation.

Later that night, Holloway went to a popular nightclub, Carlos ‘N Charlie’s, with about 40 of her classmates. She left around 1:30 a.m. on May 30 with the Kalpoes and Van Der Sloot, authorities said.

And they blame Beth...

Our biggest problem is with the Dutch judges and with the entire prosecutorial system they have.

The Dutch basically don't believe anyone is ever really guilty of a crime, no matter what. If this case were tried in the US the burden of proof would be less than it is in a country like Holland where anything goes. They don't have any concept of a sentence being "penal" like we do... they see all jail time as a means of "rehabilitating" the prisoner. They take the attitude that in a crime like murder, some lives have already been destroyed, so why "destroy" more by punishing the guilty?

Of course it's RIDICULOUS, but that's the venue we're dealing with there.

There will never be enough sustainable evidence to find Joran guilty under their system. Even in a competent investigation, there wouldn't have been.

I hope Mos does take it to trial, and it will be evident how the judges simply will not find anyone guilty.

It's time to use every avenue OUTSIDE Holland to bring Justice in this case. The US, Interpol, whatever... try whatever we can... the deck has always been stacked against Beth in this case. 

Maybe this will be the green light the FBI will need to start moving against these guys.

The Dutch need to get out of the investigation and judiciary business. They have no moral compass nor the intestinal fortitude to do what is right. My suggestion is they turn the files over to the FBI, then tuck their cowardly tails in between their hind legs and get out of the way.

I have been on a boat about that size in 10 foot seas and it was
horrible.  I can only imagine 15-18 foot seas.  They need big prayers.

On June 10th, 2005 Joran broke down and said something bad happened and that Depak buried the body by the fisherman's hut. During the middle of his breakdown, the interrogation is stopped, his parents are brought in to counsel with him, then after their visit he re tracks his breakdown. How do I have proof of such a meltdown. Way across the ocean Beth calls her Mother and tells her the FBI, who watched the meltdown, had just left Beth after telling her that Natalee was dead, there was some disagreement over which boy did what, and Beth had her Mom call the family together in preparations of a funeral. Her Mom began crying bucket fulls of tears and had to have medication prescribed to her. Cousins and friends from all over started gathering at Mrs Reynolds home. Then the government goes into its spin cycle of retracting what Dompig  released and the FBI verified. Need further proof, the boy Joran was led to where Natalee was allegedly buried the next week by the authorities. If there had been no such meltdown, why was Joran leading authorities to locations by the fisherman's hut in a very obviously agitated state? First the interrogations should not have been stopped in the mist of a melt down, his parents should not have been allowed to counsel and console him during the break, and why were there written records of the meltdown which were retracted because Joran refused to sign them after the visit from his parents? Is our own FBI so incompetent as to mistakenly think they have witnessed the meltdown, and give Beth such wrong information as to make her mistakenly report to her 80 year old Mother whom she had been shielding from as much information possible until she had concrete evidence that Natalee was dead and it occurred while with the boys and that one was showing them where the body was. Why was the location not immediately secured and searched instead of publicizing the info to the world and his father 4days prior to the search for the body? Did it not occur to anyone that Paulus might move the body? And the transcript of the boys in the back of the police car?

Every time any evidence was found, the authorities made sure that the process that was producing any evidence was stopped, and damage control was instigated. Any evidence that was found was immediately gathered up by the authorities and destroyed. The botched search warrant, the mistaking chocolate for blood.

All of this was done obviously in front of the world with total disregard of what the world thought. They kept reminding the world,  WE ARE A SOVERIGN NATION.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba - A judge Friday ordered the release of the last of three suspects re-arrested last month in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, ruling the evidence was not strong enough to continue holding him.

Joran van der Sloot was arrested Nov. 21 along with two other suspects, Surinamese brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, who were released from jail Dec. 1 following a similar ruling.

Van der Sloot, 20, was ordered freed because the judge found the investigation "has not resulted in more direct evidence than before that Natalee Holloway has died as a result of a violent crime against her or that the suspect has been involved in such a crime," according to a statement from prosecutors.

Van der Sloot walked out of jail hours later, accompanied by one of his attorneys, Joseph Tacopina.

"It's been a long road, and we're very relieved and feel very much vindicated," Tacopina told The Associated Press.

The three were the last people known to see Holloway alive before she vanished on May 30, 2005, but have denied any role in her disappearance.

Van der Sloot was arrested in the Netherlands, where he has been attending college, and flown back to this Dutch Caribbean island on the basis of what prosecutors described as "new incriminating evidence" against the suspects.

Chief prosecutor Hans Mos said the young men did not divulge any new information under interrogation, leaving the investigation in the same place it was before the arrests.

"We thought there was a lot of material that urged them to tell us what happened, but they kept their mouths shut," Mos told the AP. "You never know when one of them will open up when confronted ... they were apparently very well instructed by their lawyers not to say anything to us."

Defense lawyers have accused prosecutors of rehashing old evidence, saying that a summary of the material shared with them mostly contained segments of interrogations that had not been transcribed previously and misunderstandings of recorded conversations.

Prosecutors were seeking a 60-day extension of van der Sloot's detention to continue questioning him in police custody, but they said the investigation will continue despite the suspects' release.

In their statement, prosecutors said they will decide whether to file charges in the case by the end of the month.

Holloway, of Mountain Brook, Ala., was seen leaving a bar with the three suspects hours before she was scheduled to return home with fellow high school classmates celebrating their graduation. Van der Sloot has said he left her alone on a beach that night but does not know how she vanished.

Prosecutors say they have evidence that Holloway, who was 18 when she disappeared, is dead.

No trace of Holloway has ever been found despite extensive searches involving hundreds of volunteers, Aruban soldiers, FBI agents and even Dutch F-16 jets equipped with search equipment.

My concern with this deep sea search is that you will be transporting a deceased Natalee Holloway and planting her exactly where her Mommy wants her to be found. But my concern will never meet your moderation criteria will it. LOL

So far no comments have been posted and I doubt mine will but I do believe they should inundated(sp?) with our opinions. Will ALE be supervising this search? The FBI? Beth and Dave maybe? Didn't we speculate she might be in a long term care facility in Louisiana early on?

My concern with this deep sea search is that you will be transporting a deceased Natalee Holloway and planting her exactly where her Mommy wants her to be found. But my concern will never meet your moderation criteria will it. LOL
