OM arrests witness – Amigoe.com 11/29/2005

ARUBA – The Public Prosecutor (OM) arrested a witness that testified for a suspect that supposedly was involved in a shooting. The OM suspects the witness of perjury. The district attorney didn’t believe the statement and had the 18-year old man arrested during the hearing.

The shooting took place during a party near hotel La Cabana in the night of April 30th. It was a problem between two gangs, Dakota and Madiki. Dakota accuses the 20-year old E.F. from Madiki of the shooting. F.’s lawyer subpoenaed two friends to witness. One of them, the 18-year old D. de la C. declared that he left at 03:30 and didn’t hear any shots. He also declared that his friend F. had left one hour before him. The district attorney didn’t believe De la C., because other people have told the police that they have seen him at the location during the shooting. There is a punishment of at least 3 months imprisonment for perjury.

The case will continue on December 9th and more witnesses are subpoenaed to testify

I am on my way to Mass soon to prayer for the family. This may be a long shot……but doesn’t that Fabienne girl look like a firl from the porno that was
“briefly” circulated saying it was Natalee spotted in Aruba with this guy on a raft trying to make us believe she was alive spotted in a porno flick. Resembles Fabienne’s back of her that was shown.
Maybe alot of you didn’t get to view this porno that was deleted off this website soon after it appeared

I am thinking that after they left CnC with Natalee, they made a stop at whatever bar  to tell someone who worked there that they had a girl, drug administered and to meet up with them. They would have had to stop to do it since the person was working and could not get a phone call while on the job. That person/s could have said, I'll be off in 10 min, or whatever, then K2's car circles around and kills time.

This sounds right on, Shell. At minimum, the circling around is drug related. I think they did go to another bar too, somebody admitted that.

The original source for the "other bar" rumor is a Birmingham News article very early in the case that said according to Satish's lawyer they briefly stopped at another bar a block away.  However that is not in Satish's statements.  My theory is that was a garbled version of the stop a block away after she shouted at her friends, which woudl have been right in front of teh Iguana Joe's bar.  

There was also an NE article which said Joran told K. Pederson that before going to the beach they stopped somewhere to get drinks.  There's a scanned copy of the article avaible online but the print is too small to read, maybe someone can enlarge it.

I have a lot of NE articles.  Can you give me an approximate month that the article was in.  If it was very early on I might not have it.

I have the article where Joran spoke to the NE reporter Kristina Pedersen from October 10th.  I just read it and I didn't see anything in there where he says they stopped somewhere to get drinks.

Can you e-mail it to me?  Maybe I'm wrong but i'm pretty sure it was in there.

That's weird, I don't see it there either, but I remember picking up on that when the article came out.  Maybe it was part of a caption with one of the photos? Or maybe I'm actually remembering what the author said about the article on TV.

I clearly remember a reference to stopping at a bar on the way to the lighthouse.  Several monkeys discussed it at the time.  However I don't recall where the information came from.  I wish I could help.

We even had the name of it, but that I don't recall.

It SEEMS that it was in the same shopping mall/plaza as the Cyberspace Cafe. Stays open later, popular with locals, lots of outdoor space. And on a lower level - you would go down stairs from street level. IIRC.

That discussion was based on a couple very early articles by Hannah Wolffson in the BN,  in which she mentioned that Satish's lawyer said they stopped at another bar/restaurant.  I also remember that Joran supposedly told K. Pederson something about having stopped for drinks. but it's not actually in the NE article about K. Pederson.
