I also remember our discussion of the stop at a bar after leaving C&C.
We even had the name of it, but that I don't recall.

It SEEMS that it was in the same shopping mall/plaza as the Cyberspace Cafe. Stays open later, popular with locals, lots of outdoor space. And on a lower level - you would go down stairs from street level. IIRC.

That discussion was based on a couple very early articles by Hannah Wolffson in the BN,  in which she mentioned that Satish's lawyer said they stopped at another bar/restaurant.  I also remember that Joran supposedly told K. Pederson something about having stopped for drinks. but it's not actually in the NE article about K. Pederson.

I remember this also...then, I think in the Greta interview, he said other bar and it ended up being the "other bar" in Carlos and Charlies.  It's funny that in the US interviews he tries to clarify (make the lie clearer) from earlier statements.

Jesus H. Christ....what did they do to this girl. This is sick. Like I have said all along, someone and more than one knows the truth. Speak now or forever hold your peace. I have thought of MANY different scenarios of that night and yet I always hope it was much more simple and quick than I imagine.

justinsmama - That is the name of the video.  Back I want to say last September it was posted in forums and the person posted was claiming it was Natalee.  At that time we sent the video to the family and they verified what we already knew that is was NOT Natalee.

Knowing what happened doesn't put this kid in jail, even if he went to school in Florida (as long as he didn't take a wrong turn into AL or MS   ).   I do not think that Joran feels comfortable in Aruba or Holland, in spite of the lack of media coverage, but I do believe he knows he'll likely never be welcomed into the US for school or work without problems from many.  He's now under a microscope and not just in the US I suspect.  The nasty posts that got through last night are related to Fabbie's outing, I presume.

This is why the statements of who was driving and where were they sitting is important.  Satish was driving to pick up Deepak.  Could Satish have been driving when they picked up Joran?  If Deepak didn't leave until around 11:30 and they went to get Joran, then there was no cleaning ants out of the car....that came later.  There was no showers and changing clothes.  The only thing logical here is the Taco Bell stop.  Where is Taco Bell in relation to the McDonald's where Joran was?  Maybe they were picking him up from the McDonald's. How does this fit in the timeline?  How much time is involved?  Intersting things to ponder.

I believe Deepak was off work at 10pm that sunday night.

That's what I thought, Smish, but I don't remember where I got that idea.  It just doesn't make sense to me that Satish would pick up Deepak, Joran would call Paulus for a ride, they all go home and do some stuff for a little while, then D&S go to pick up Joran for C&C's.  I'll have to look back at the statements to see what time Joran called Deepak, but I thought he called him at work.  So why wouldn't the Kalpoes just pick up Joran and go out?  Instead, we have Joran eating at McD's, the Kalpoes eating at home, Paulus running out to get Joran, Joran doing homework all within a very short time span.  Seems more likely that the Kalpoes just picked up Joran and they went out, but if that's true, why would they lie?  What are they hiding?
