My bird cage. I got this from my aunt who had it for 50 years. It is wrought iron and inside is a ceramic bird (that she made) along with a Jade cactus plant. I decorate the cage every year.

The Wreath. I cut two open circles of cardboard and stapled them together. Then I painted them red. I wound red and gold beads and some fabric around the cardboard ... it took me six hours. And then I arranged the gold stars to look like they are dripping gold from the wreath. THE END.

Very Nice Louise    When I lived in company housing, all the homes were made of similiar material, with red tile roofs.  I painted my front door a color that was called "Chinese Red".  When people came down the street, they knew where, in the clusters of town houses that I lived.   Laughing  I really like the way you've pulled your entry together with the door, mat, plants and the lovely Christmas decorations.  The antique bird cage painted gold is wonderful.

Louise ~  I'm sorry.  I do love the antique bird cage, and I know it isn't gold.  I meant to say I liked the gold beads and stars..
