Man charged with indecency with a child while out on bail for the same crime

Hutto police have charged a man with indecency with a child after they say he assaulted an 11-year-old girl while he was out on bail for the same crime.

Wesley James Allen, 33, of Hutto, was first charged with the second-degree felony, punishable with up to 20 years in prison, on March 5, court records showed. He was released the next day after posting $25,000 bail. The case is pending.

The alleged second incident occurred on Sept. 15, according to court records. He was arrested on Sept. 18. He was in the Williamson County Jail today with bail set at $150,000

In both instances, Allen said he committed the crimes, police said.
