HUH????? Did I miss something Kermit???

Miss Klassend is hiding things in her bathroom - heh heh

ROFLMAO

Actually my favorite color is blue but I also like sage green.  I think the outside of the house will be a shade of green and some of the inside as well.  I may go with a peach color on the inside too.  Haven't decided on all the colors yet.

I better look around next time I take a bath just to make sure there aren't any tree frogs lurking around

Cher is 61, can ya believe it.  We should all look so good at that age.  Tina Turner is coming on too.  That's gonna rock.  Cher and Tina are icons.  I hope everyone who isn't sure who they'll be at 60 years old watches this.

Ya know who else is looking damn good for their age is Bette Midler.  She was on Oprah not long ago getting ready to do a Vegas show.  She did "Big Noise from Winnetka".  My gosh, that girl's got some energy.

The common thread seems to me to be that none of these women STOP.  They figured out their dream and went for it.  Gotta like that.

Peaches, I have no doubt that when you are 60, you will be giving 20 year olds a run for their money.

Gosh it's good to see the Monkeys getting well.

The same day Klaas went in the hospital, I had surgery.  (If I would have known, we could have been roommates).  I had pushed myself so hard that I needed to rely on a wheelchair.  I am up walking around, thank you, thank you, God, so I am also rejoicing in the freedom of feeling better.

You guys were such great company while I was ailing and getting back on my feet.  I can't thank you enough for always being here.

Carry on.....but of course, monkeys don't need an excuse to carry on.

Don't know what you had surgery for but I'm very glad you are on the mend.  Peaches is right, surgery sucks.

Thanks, Klaas.  It was my back.  A  couple of bandaids but it made all the difference in the world.

I could no longer stand and needed a wheelchair to go to a school meeting for my son, which they would not postpone.  I have never missed a meeting for my son, ever, and I was not going to miss this one.  They told me they would have it without me and send me their plan for him next year.

They could have waited a couple of weeks, after all, they haven't finished doing what they were supposed to do since the last meeting.

If I had to have procedures on my back, I am so glad I was knocked out.

Please be gentle with yourself.  Respiratory failure is nothing to hold out on.  Call for help right away.  I don't have to tell you that, it's not gonna happen again.  This is just in case you need to tell someone else.

Bearlyhere I'm glad to see you are getting back on your feet.  Back pain is no joke so make sure you take it easy also.

You are right about that, San.  It is literally a pain in the a**.

Thank you for your wise words, friend.

That's not Klaas in her bathroom.  Kermit you get out of there right now!  There is nothing worse than a peeping frog.

I bet the 'Script Keeper' is writing it down in her book right now.

Dugga - if you read here, thanks for adding the "cartwheel" monkey, LOL

Just got done moving my PC to the back room as they will be working on my "work" area this week and my computer workstation will have to be moved.  So fixing some walls, paint, new flooring or carpet then I can move back.

For some reason I can't get my wireless working but I bet I will by tomorrow.

Tornadoes Tear Across Southern Plains, Killing 10
Saturday , May 10, 2008

 PICHER, Okla. —

Authorities say at least 10 people are dead in Missouri and Oklahoma after severe weather that included tornadoes.

Oklahoma Emergency Management spokeswoman Michelann Ooten says six people died Saturday in Picher. She says the death toll could go higher.

She says the tornado caused major damage in a 20-block area.

The National Weather Service says three people died after a tornado near Seneca in southwestern Missouri. Meteorologist Bill Davis says a fourth person died near Carthage.

Storms also caused damage in parts of Arkansas

This Poem goes out to all the Mothers here at SM that have passed including mine.

Mothers Who are No Longer Among Us

In tears we saw you sinking,
        And watched you pass away.
        Our hearts were almost broken,
        We wanted you to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
        So peaceful, free from pain,
How could we wish you back with us,
        To suffer that again.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.

        If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
        and hold her for awhile.
        Because remembering her is easy,
        I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
        that will never go away.

Don't think of her as gone away
        Her journey's just begun
        Life holds so many facets
        This earth is only one
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years
Think how she must be wishing
        That we could know, today
        Now nothing but our sadness
        Can really pass away
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she is loved so very much.
