HOLLOWAY: Well, not sure, you know. I've wondered about that in the beginning. My brothers also wondered about that. It came up a second time probably three or four months later. He asked us how much money we had and I thought he was asking for reward money that Natalee was located. And, then he changed, kind of changed the subject when I didn't catch on.

HOLLOWAY: Dompig, I think he's on the fence. I think he really does but he always mentioned higher-ups. The higher-ups had his hands tied.

VAN SUSTEREN: Who are the higher-ups, higher-ups in Aruba or higher- ups in Holland?

HOLLOWAY: Well that's what I was trying to figure out. I never have been able to pinpoint who it was. I'm thinking it may be Rudy Croes, but I may be mistaken.

VAN SUSTEREN: And for those who don't know who Rudy Croes is?

HOLLOWAY: He's the minister of justice.

VAN SUSTEREN: And he's an Aruban?

HOLLOWAY: That's correct.

VAN SUSTEREN: Why do you suspect him?

HOLLOWAY: You know he made some comments early on in the case that, you know, 30 days and this case will go away and we'll be back to business. There was a time or two that he had made some statements like that.

VAN SUSTEREN: How did they close the case, I mean they just let it go?

HOLLOWAY: Well, you know, back in November I got word that they're going to give it about 60 more days and close the case and take their hit on tourism and then start back next year just like nothing ever happened.

I have a pretty good idea what he was thinking  I have never seen anyone look at the sloots the way he did on TV. I watched it a bunch of times and this part of the video was my favorite. First he stared down Paulus eye to eye then his eyes focused on Joran as PVDS was talking,watching them ever so closely..I love it!!!!!!!!The look in this screen does not do the video justice how he really looked at the two liars.

Just an other Observation:

Normaly the Americans Hotel Chains so far I know here in Aruba, all are beween Aruba born Nationalities and Americans. I find it very odd for the Nijmegen man to be the Managing Director..

This is an international wealth management and capital investment firm.  As you look around and try to research things, it is interesting to see names and speculate how all these people in Aruba's government and AHATA might be connected.  I found a  guy that worked with  Jorge Pesquera, Anthony Blok and a past AHATA guy  “Eduardo de Veer", are in a deal with Hilton Hotels on Cuaraco.  I don't have the link, but I think it was from a news paper.  This is interesting also.

Good question! My personal opinion is he would have gotten answers from Jacobs that first day for a large payoff. Problem is Dave isn't rich and he didn't catch on what Jacobs was asking..Kind of shocking to have a cop ask that question.
