The 'no one is perfect' comment is just shocking!  It doesn't take a perfect person to know that videotaping little boys showering is wrong.  In fact, it doesn't even take a smart person to know that.  It just takes one that willing to have morals and decency.
KittyMom, I hear what you are saying.  Basic sense of right and wrong . . . for the love of all that is good, why can't we find an island somewhere in this world and drop all these pedos and murderers and let them fend for themselves?  Course, sad to say, it would take a very big island.
A VERY big island.

Panel gives safety, security recommendations to Immaculata
August 8, 2012

SOMERVILLE — A day before a former Immaculata High School athletics volunteer was expected to plead not guilty to charges of videotaping boys in the Catholic school’s showers, an independent panel delivered its recommendations for improving safety and security at the school.

The six-member committee, which included a retired federal judge and an assistant prosecutor, was empaneled by the Immaculate Conception parish in February in response to the December 2011 arrest of Patrick Lott, 55, who also was the former assistant principal of Bernardsville Middle School.

Among the report’s recommendations are that the school install dividers or curtains in the boys’ showers and that teachers and staffers not be allowed “one-on-one private contact” with students unless done in view of other adults.

The report’s executive summary does not specifically address the allegations against Lott.

“It’s not backward-looking,” Brennan said. “It examines the current culture and atmosphere and makes some wise recommendations.”

Lott was indicted in June on 91 counts stemming from an accusation that he set up an undercover camera to record boys as they showered.

Images found on Lott’s computer included 29 current and former students, 15 of whom were believed to be younger than 16 at the time of the recording, Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey D. Soriano said.

Former Bernardsville Middle School Assistant Principal Patrick Lott pleads innocent to child endangerment
August 17, 2012

BERNARDSVILLE – Former Bernardsville Middle School Assistant Principal Patrick Lott, facing scores of child endangerment charges, pleaded innocent  in state Superior Court in Somerville on Thursday, Aug. 9.

Lott, 55, of Somerville, who has been held in the Somerset County Jail on $500,000 bail, appeared in court for his arraignment before Judge Julie Marino as defense attorney James Wronko entered the plea.

Lott was still employed by the Somerset Hills Regional School District on Dec. 23 when he was arrested and accused by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office of videotaping boys showering at Immaculata High School in Somerville, where he was a sports coach and volunteer leader.

Communal Shower

Detectives, in a search of Lott’s home, allegedly found several videos of nude teenage boys in the school’s communal shower. According to Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey D. Soriano, 29 students or former students were identified in the videos, with 15 being under the age of 16 at the time the video was made.

Officials have said that none of the incidents involved students in Somerset Hills Regional.

Lott, who was earning an annual salary of $120,000 as assistant principal here, was put on an indefinite leave of absence by the school board on Jan. 9.

He resigned in a letter dated Jan. 27.

On June 21, a grand jury in Somerville indicted Lott on 91 charges, including 29 counts of third-degree invasion of privacy, 30 counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, 17 counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and 15 counts of fourth-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
