The prosecutor is waiting until the D'Vries video airs before he makes a decision to seek the arrest of Joran. This is absurd.

I agree.  The only thing I can think of is that Mos knows how corrupt the place is and wants the additional pressure/outrage of the public before proceeding?  Or perhaps they are counting on those with knowledge to come forward out of fear?  Who knows... but this makes me nervous as well.

I think Mos needs the public outrage to keep the rest of the process honest.  As if.

Below is the timeline for late 5/30 based on statements so far. Joran does not say he is driving anywhere from 7:00-8:00, he says he is walking.

The notable discrepancy in the statements here is that Deepak says when he called Joran at 6:00 Joran told him he was at the Wyndham with Guido, but Joran says he was at the RC at that time):


5:00 pm: Paulus drops Joran off at Raquet Club (J 6/14)

5:00-7:00 pm: At Raquet Club, Joran talks to Koen, has tennis lesson (J 6/14)

6:00 pm: Deepak calls Joran to ask him how he is. Joran says he is with Guido Wever in the casino at the Wyndham. Deepak says he will call him back (D 6/11, 6/16)

7:00 pm: Joran calls Paulus asking if he can go to the casino, Paulus says yes. Joran calls Andre and Guido Wever (6/14)

7:15 pm: Joran leaves on foot for the Wyndham Hotel. On the way he stops at the Marriott beach to look for his shoes (J 6/14)

7:45: Joran arrives at Aruba Grant Hotel & Casino (J 6/14)

Klaas, I went and watched both of the videos. I loved the one of Joran. Liked the music too. Not much for me to comment on the one of Paulus. I can't remember what I did 10 minutes ago let alone 3 weeks.

On 7-14 DILMA ARENDS reported that evidence in the form of cellular phone tracking records of principal suspect J. Sloot pinpoint that he did make a 4:00 AM cellular phone call.  ARENDS also alluded that the forensics may have pinpointed precisely from where principal suspect J. Sloot placed the cellular phone call from.  ARENDS also said that at 4:00 AM current suspect D. Kalpoe was home, but after receiving the cellular phone call from principal suspect J. Sloot, he left his home and then went to the "Marriott Hotel" location.
