Likely, Joran swapped names. This means ALE will toss their hands in the air and announce there is nothing to investigate.

I guarantee Hans Mos hasn't even bothered to check the logs from that pay phone to see who Joran actually called, hasn't interrogated that person, hasn't impounded or searched that person's boat, and hasn't even bothered to recover Joran's sneakers.

One red flag for me, i realize anything is possible on that crap can island but if the prosecution has had this tape for a week why isnt Jorans ass sitting in a cell right now ?

Dana, earlier the poster from Holland said that Mos was not given all of the info from DeVries.  Perhaps this is why.  Perhaps PDV wanted to make REAL sure the whole world saw this so that there would be no question as to move this case forward.?  Just a guess.

IMO, like Robots said.... Paulus is now in the mix again... afterall, the Aruban Supreme Court ruled that Paulus picked up Natalee and Joran at 4am.. That Paulus had been with Natalee two times, that is why he lost his money case against his arrest.

I don't remember off hand the charges against him... but they need to be looked into again, and the letter saying Paulus wasn't a suspect anymore by Karen Janssen needs to be looked and ruled on again by the Dutch.

Aruba now has a change, again, to say its people and tourist... I hope they do.

One sentence in Jorans confession jumped out for me! In fact at first it seemes a quite nondescript sentence but...
At a certain point he says something like: 'A person who just murdered someone doesn't do something like that.' And at that point you can see him think of himself: 'Mmmm, should I have said it like that.'

That one sentence convinces me he had a hand in her death; maybe they werent just 'petting' etc, but maybe he was raping and using violence against her!

I would think the phone company could look back through records of all pay phones in the area.. if cell phone companies can keep record for 3 to 5 years
why cant they have records of pay phones

If Karin Jannsen and Jan Van der Straten and their cronies had been trying to solve the case they would have checked every pay phone withing a one mile raduis of the beach. No brainer. Hell, the damn phone was right there!!!!
