A legal expert (Lex Runderkamp) has just declared on the Dutch News that it's a very important legal distinction if Natalee was dead or Alive when she was dumped in the sea. If she was dead at the time, the person who dumped her body in the ocean is only guilty of a severe degree of grave robbing, but if she was alive, it's at least manslaughter. In any case, it's far from a done deal, legally.

Denying medical attention to someone that is unconsous and close to death to allow that person to die is also a form of manslughter.

Hi, Monkeys, thanks for posting the translations from the Devries show. I don't post much, but I've been reading here for years.  Something Joran said about "Daury" rang a distant bell in my memory, wondered if any of you would remember this.  Joran said the person who helped him worked for one of those banana boat companies on the beach, and had his own boat.  Obviously, it's not the Daury person he named, but I thought I remembered some discussion long ago on this board about a beach bum guy who ran a banana boat company (or maybe just worked for one) on the beach, and disappeared or moved away right after Natalee disappeared.  Does anyone else remember anything about that?  I tend to think Joran called Paulus that night, but it's odd he would throw in that detail about Daury working for a banana boat company, when it looks as if the real Daury never did, and never even had a boat. Why mention the banana boat company? Maybe the real person with the boat actually worked for a banana boat company.  Which of Joran's friends worked for a banana boat company?  I thought if anyone could figure that out, you guys could. 

On another note, I feel so sad for all of Natalee's family tonight, my prayers are with all of them.

I thought of that too.  It was the skinny little kid with the yellow funky car that "Bondia" aka Julia was chasing around in her car when she was supposed to be assisting with the truth about the rock painting.  Is it Vladimir Van Loon or something like that?

Thanks, glad to know I didn't imagine it.  It may be nothing, just thought it was odd for Joran to throw in that detail.  I do think someone with  boat helped him, I just don't think his name is Daury.

I certainly hope the Dutch person who commented on abc that Klaas brought over earlier is the feeling of most who watched there.  If they all do what that poster said they were going to do (make calls to the powers that be) tomorrow, for Joran's disgusting acts, then screw what this guy said!

HI Back at you Justins Mama. I was reading here earlier not signed in since there were so many here. I lost my internet connection . Did not evn know we were having a thunderstorm, I was so interested in this. was how I felt. Was down for over an hour so now am trying to catch up.

I feel so badly for all the innocent people Joran has conned and hurt. I also feel bad for his brothers.
I do think it is possible Natalee died of alcohol poisoning. She was awfully small . It is also possible he was choking her during sex and she asphyxiated. I believe this could also cause foaming at the mouth. Or semen could also cause asphyxiation. Sorry to be so graphic.

I don't think Joran will get a place to rest from now on; if I see the reactions at his hiding place and hear of the reactions on his hyves.nl site he only has two options left: confess the whole truth, take his punishment (and show a lot of remorse) or........... Remember in the tape today, Joran did say, when asked by Peter if Joran was worried about his good buddy turning him in....Joran replied "NO...I have something. the same thing on him...so he can't turn me in"

This means....Joran and (fill in the blank)...HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE!    Killed and disposed of body....that is why, I think Joran was/is so nonchalant about everything...
