Why do we not see any outrage in Aruba??  No protest signs??  No marching to the courthouse...no publishing of the judge's name??  Where are the citizens?? Am I to believe that they are more educated and intelligent than the people of Holland and America??  Where are they?? Where is their outrage??

C'mon now Buckeye!  At this point, I'm not sure the majority of the Aruban population cares enough about a missing (and presumed murdered) 18 year old American girl to protest their own judicial system for not prosecuting one of "their own". 

Understanding Joran's not Aruban persay.  But, I think it's more of an "FU" to America for "tarnishing" their name and reputation then anything else.  It's like OJ here.  There are actually those who believe he didn't nearly cut his wife's head off!  As silly as it sounds, it's true...

I'm sure there are plenty of good people in Aruba.  But, to be perfectly honest, they are not my concern at this point.  I could care less what happens to their island.  They've protected the killer of an American citizen long enough.  It's go time!!

I saw all the tapes today, and Joran sitting in the car.
That was not just a story, that is something that really happened.
You can see it in his eyes, and you can hear it in his voice.
And I also think that if you do not understand dutch, and have to depend on reading the translation at the bottom of the screen, it changes everything.

Because you don't what word he is saying, when he is looking a certain way.
Also because he was smoking whatever that was, loosened him up.
I think he thought it was soo cool to hang out with this bad dude.
Heck, he even gives him presents.

I soooooo think that Daury=Koen  The shoes and the bag in the basin in the video was there for a reason.  waiting to all be taken out to sea by the boat.

Lifelong friend. Boat was parked at the Marriott. Makes sense to me Hotshot. Can the prosecutor get the Gottenbos' phone records from that far back? I doubt Karin Jannsen or Van der Straten bothered. They didn't even want to question him.

Do you know if he will go to the Police there in the NL or will he go back to Aruba?  Sounds like a quick way to get him protection from the mobs in the NL by sending him to Aruba.  Once there he will be advised by his father to SHUT the F UP. (by the way, thanks for your transcribing for us).

I'll tell you why no outrage in Aruba....because tourism is back up. I am sure there are those who want justice too.However as we have come to see the tourism dollar or lack there of is what drives the island. The months following Natalees disappearance caused numbers to drop, and only now are people getting back on their feet. Just the resurgence of media attention likely sends chills down many spines.

Tacky says Joran was stoned when he made those remarks, but according to Joran's on words he was cohesive enough to be playing the guy. Uh uh, he wasn't that stoned was he?

Two comments....


1. Where are the mangroves in relation to where the plastic bag/body was pictured?

2.  I hope many people watch this show tonight.  Many Americans have so much misinformation about this case, or vaguely remember it.  We forget that others haven't been on threads/sites regularly dedcated to this case.  I was so pissed at another site(craft) I frequent that has a section that is non-craft related, that posted a thread about Beth and Natalee, but was glad that the majority of posters stood up for Natalee.  This one woman basically was saying that Beth wasn't holding Nat accountable because what did she expect when Nat ahd been doing drugs and go so intoxicated to go with three guys for the purpose of having sex!  Speak about disrespectful as well as misinformed!
