Spring Break for Teens in Aruba, I Don’t Think So
After years of waiting, the parents of Natalee Holloway get to hear what happen to their daughter on a video out of the mouth of Joran van der Sloot, the young man who was the last to see Natalee alive. It seems, from the video, that he knew all along what happened to Natalee. Beth Twitty, Natalee’s mother, said on Greta Van Susteren’s show last night, she felt vindicated after seeing the tape. Guess the authorities in Aruba should have a dose of her mother’s intuition, since they were unable to do anything about this.

It is hard enough to allow/watch your teen or young adult travel. They are bound to make some mistakes and trouble can find them. But to not be able to trust the country’s authorities? I know you feel the same way I do when I say: Not this parent – not my kid! I know a lot of teens who like to travel, they’ve been to Europe and a couple are planning another trip. With the competitiveness of the travel industry, you have to wonder what Aruba is thinking? If your teen wants to go somewhere fun, beautiful and beachy this year for spring break, it’s my humble opinion you should cross Aruba off his/her list. I feel it's an issue of trust, I trust Aruba the least because of how the investigation was handled. What do you think?

I wonder what DeVries thinks about coming to Nat's country and facing others who debunk what he's done?

My parents would probably have tackled me if I threw wine at any adult as Joran did.

Hey Joran, I'm inclined to believe this case will haunt you the rest of your life. It's a shame stuff like this always happens to you.

Smile you're on Candid Camera.

disappointed in Greta not to bring op seizures. i am sure Peter would have said something about that.

very good last comment about PvdS
Peter has strong leads on hem, it's not just suspicion else he wouldn't have said that.

I'm just going to throw this out there.

I find it strange that this guy went to De Vries.  He said he is good friends with Joran and doesn't believe his story.  Why all of a sudden.  When Greta asked De Vries what this guy Patrick did for a living he said he was a very successful business man.  Then she said well what does he do again.  De Vries said he was something technical and complicated.  As a crime reporter he should know what Patrick does for a living.

Joran gave just enough info not to hang himself.

I think he wants this to go to trial and he wants the focus of the trial to be on the confession and not what he said on the PV's.  The PV's are more damaging to all of them (including Paulus).

Yes ,\I believe we all saw the true Joran but something isn't right about all of this to me.  JMO.

Now don't flame me all at once.

Greta: Is there anything on the tape that makes you think the father, Paulus, was in any way involved?

Peter: Well, Joran says on the tape that his father brought him a cell phone in jail. He (the father)  is a judge and that's a sin.

Every time he opens his mouth, I like him even more.

He's going to get Paulus, he's just going to do it the right way.  GO PETER!!

Peter looks very tired (obvisously).
shame he didn't get Greta's seizures question.

Well, I didn't get it either.  I wondered what she wanted him to say.

she wants accidental and Joran leaving the scene to have the tide gently carry Natalee away. That's her last shot at believing her own insanity.

Ah, I see.  Natalee just had the first seizure of her life totally out of the blue and at just that very moment for no reason at all kind of thinking?

yes, her belief system is breaking down. It usually happens at a much earlier age... so she has problems.

Dave says this is the real Joran vd Sloot.  I hope that is not lost on Greta.  Dave may be much too subtle for her.

So far, Greta is doing a much better job than the other shows tonight.

You can tell she's liking being back in the saddle again. She's over being jilted by Joran and is enjoying the company of other men.

Hiker, I've really enjoyed your missives tonight

Hey Bleached!

I've been to Cancun, and had my son and a crew of kids with me. WE went to the clubs, and WE had a great time. He didn't drink a drop, but never has, and he was happy to have Mom along. I would not let my kid go alone (without me) to Cancun. It's got potential to be dangerous, and a general "chaparone" that isn't with the kids wherever they go just isn't good enough for Cancun, IMO.

Did Greta stumble with Dave? "I hope as time goes by we can bring you more answers -- that anybody who can help out brings you more answers." WE? After all that Greta has done to support the dark side?
