Dave had the confession tested with voice analysis software. Believes Joran did it but thinks there is more to the story than Joran has told.

Discussing GHB. Interviewing phamacy professor. Overdose on GHB is possible.

Julia Renfro: Majority of people in Aruba and around the world believe he is guilty but that is different from evidence which can be used in court.
Sounds skeptical they will be able to prosecute.

Rob - no, they are trying to say Patrick has a brother named Perry that owned a water sports company.  Problem is I can't find any Perry van der Eem, or Perry, or Eem as the owner of anything at the Aruba chamber website.  In other words, Glenda and MF are playing games.

Patrick van der Eem is the son of Leo van der Eem.

In the past the father was director of the import company Playa Liqour.

He was jailed back then for stealing from the company and not paying taxes.

After that he left the island to live in Holland, where he bought few restaurants.

Patrick has a brother called Perry van der Eem that started a watersports company in October 2002 and stopped the company on July 4, 2007.

Patrick started having contact with Joran, just after that.

Peter made an important point: Joran is now speaking to the authorities. Peter believes that happened earlier today in Holland. Peter said that is a significant turn of events because Joran has refused to talk to the police before. Now today Joran made a statement to the police.

About 13 million saw the tapes on 20/20 Monday night.  I wonder what the combined audience would be for tonight for deVries total from LK and Greta? 

And of course they will both re-run again tonight as well.  That's a lot of people who now know much more than they did before.  Also a lot for Peter to face speaking another language, must make him at least a bit nervous.

They are swallowing an elephant and gagging on a fly. It is amazing to think those two twits even have the nerve to blog anymore they've been discredited so much. Aruba must be a very boring place at high season.

She says that Joran is convicted on TELEVISION, but that does
not mean that even with the confession he can be convicted
in Aruba's court system.  She said there are no storm drains in
Aruba for him to put his shoes in and the SOS about the pay phone.
The reporter says that the sporter can get anywhere from time served
to life.
Natalee's doctor said that her system could not tolerate even normal
doses of medication and she was usually given a child's dose.
Professor at UAB or Samford said the the GHB would have made her
go into a coma and then her blood pressure would have dropped and
her breathing slowed.  Only a trained professionsl could tell if she
was alive or dead.

Newsflash Renhoe, nobody gives a damn what a wore out hoe thinks. STFU

It's rather hard to try to get Urine Joran to court for what he did to Natalee. imo.

I would rather see the Dutch investigate the corruption that had occurred during the "missing" Natalee investigation. The "cover up" should now be investigated by the Dutch. The investigation should focus on the corrupt elements of the Aruban LE that participated (those ALE people that asked about Natalee's history of "seizures") and the corrupt elements of the Public Prosecutor Office (OM) that kept steering the investigation in the wrong direction (e.g., Karin Jansen).

And during this investigation, the Dutch can now question Joran. They can do this since this is a different investigation. This will be an investigation into the coverup and into the conspiracy to assist in the coverup. They can first get statements from Joran as a "witness," then later as a "suspect" if necessary. And from the investigation, the Dutch might find evidence that points to Joran's involvement in that conspiracy.

Aruban LE and OM can not be trusted to investigate themselves in this matter, so the Dutch Kingdom will have to do it themselves. imo.

I'm just going to throw this out there.

I find it strange that this guy went to De Vries.  He said he is good friends with Joran and doesn't believe his story.  Why all of a sudden.  When Greta asked De Vries what this guy Patrick did for a living he said he was a very successful business man.  Then she said well what does he do again.  De Vries said he was something technical and complicated.  As a crime reporter he should know what Patrick does for a living.

Joran gave just enough info not to hang himself.

I think he wants this to go to trial and he wants the focus of the trial to be on the confession and not what he said on the PV's.  The PV's are more damaging to all of them (including Paulus).

Yes ,I believe we all saw the true Joran but something isn't right about all of this to me.  JMO.

Now don't flame me all at once.

San ... I am glad you brought this up.  I feel exactly the same way.

I believe that it is all about Joran directing the blame on himself and ... distancing Paulus, the Kalpoes who can implicate Paulus and ... the sons of the elite who can implicate Paulus.

I am putting together some thoughts and will share my brainwave with forum on the weekend.
