couple questions, can you tell me where Jossy says this about Lorenzo? Was it recent?
2) did joran call into the Dutch talk show? do we have a transcript?

Hi Lou He said that on SM Radio with Dana last year. It was the first or second time he talked about Lorenzo. I think he has only been asked questions about Lorenzo on 3-4 shows or so not including the one last week.

Not sure about a transcript..Klaas would know..

thanks, I am curious now because i just can't figure lorenzo into this. paulus YES, koen and family YES!!!  I think together they did the clean up for joran. I asked Jug about this too, he doesn't seem to think he fits in either. only time will tell...we hope and pray anyways!!

I've been following this case on Scared Monkeys site since day one.  I've always had a problem with Joran's statements and behavior.  I am a psychotherapist and he's always struck me as a strange bird.  It always seemed concerning that his extreme right for silence seemed an admission of involvement.  That also applies to his father. 

Now that we know a cell phone was given to Joran by his father in detention, I figure they were trying to keep their stories straight. 

I also have to say that there is a gut feeling that Natalee is not at sea.  But we shall see.  The ship is off the coast working hard.  They are "experts in finding a needle in the haystack" as they said on Greta. 

I'm certain that Natalee was drugged.  If she was tossed to sea or buried it wouldn't matter much for some drugs in her system.  I don't think Joran is concerned about his semen as much as the physical proof that she was drugged.  That would really not look good for him. 

Tho, I've not posted much, I've read the forums frequently and kept up with the news on this website since day one!! 

I'm worried that the Aruban government will not be able to convict Joran with the current evidence and if tried he may be released from all charges.  How awful it would be to try him too soon and not be able to get him due to double indemnity.  I think we all need to be patient making sure we have the evidence we need to lock Joran and any other parties away for a very long time. 

Slow and steady won the race.  I know this is a snails pace...but better to be save than sure.  One day, Natalee will have her justice!!

That is sickening! Nit Wit mentioned somethin like that in the Bon Dia interview. Even if they found something,he was afraid it could of been obtained illegally and not been admissable so he limited the search to the lil apt. He then said the OM never asked to search anything more after that day. I am absolutely convinced Karen Janssen is just as crooked as anyone in the Investigation. It was her and the Dept she worked in that did that dutch reenactment with the dark skin,different race older Joran acting as Joran Van Der Sloot. It blows my mind that JQK does not agree and thinks she tried and did a good job.

Karin Jannsen got a free ride because she kept he mouth shut and put on a good act, but it is more apparent every day she was involved in the cover-up.

She knew Joran made those statements about the seizures. She refused to give those statements to the security guards' lawyers which she was required to do by law, but she circumvented the law by saying Joran's statements were 'irrevelant' to the security guards' case. She did give them the Kalpoes' statements despite the fact that they were supposedly all telling the same Holiday Inn story as Joran.

She would have been the one to make the call to arrest the sucurity guards in the first place. She would have had to prepare the warrant in her department. By arresting the innocent security guards she gave Joran and the Kalpoes 5 extra days to destroy evidence and get their stories straight. She arrested these two innocent guys knowing full well that Joran and K2 had had lied about dropping Natalee off at the Holiday Inn.

She arrests Joran on September 10th but doesn't even bother to search the Van der Sloot home until 5 days later, giving them an extra five days to destroy evidence. And we know what happened there. Paulus' judge buddy Bob Wit added the icing on the cake.

Karin Janssen is as crooked as everyone one else who had a hand in destroying the case. She is as rotten as Van der Straten and Paulus' judge buddies. Sorry for the long read but this bitch just pisses me off!

ok...this has always struck me about joran...his eyes. isn't it supposed to be when someone looks up and to the left or right...it is untruthful and when someone looks down they are just thinking? He always looked up and to the...hmmm...can't think if it was right ot left now...anyhoo...made me think he was lying out of his fanny!! In the car he is more normal...ahead or back and forth with his eyes. Any thoughts?

According to Kruimel, the Om has received a lot of tips through mail and email. Kruimel: "we absolutely think we can solve the case".

We've heard this bullshit before from OMs Karen Jannsen and Hans Mos. Action speaks louder than words. Peter deVries has handed them the case on a silver platter. Just do it!

There are so many ways to tell if someone is lying.  It's a really hard skill to learn - lie detection.  A few things that I learned - excessive detail, touching the face during response, and looking to the left.  Excessive detail showes a need to overly prove oneself (doubt/insecurity), a face touch (can represent covering one's mouth - not wanting to reveal), and looking to the right indicates a person is accessing the right hemosphere of their brain - the creative side, thus perhaps lying.  But, each person is different and one needs to carefully observe to determine one's pattern when lying.  It's tricky.

But, yes, this "Shrink" has been following all this from day one and reading all these posts.

Shinkinmonk, as a psychotherapist, just wondering if you agree with what I have said since summer '05 - that Joran  and PVDS appear to have narcissistic personality disorder.  I also think Natalee may not be in the sea.  I think her body may have been incinerated.  Remember the Columbian necktie?

I would like to hear is thoughts on this also. Hopefully Beth told him a little about her experience in Holland,because so far he has just said things like "I found that strange" and Natalee died under mysterious circumstances.
