Great Owl: It seems to be working just fine now! Let me know if you have any other trouble, but Klaas is right; ususally it's a size thing with the width of the avatar!

Pink Angel: If you will post (paste your animated avatar inside a post. It should be a gif if it's animated), I'll resize it for you so that it will be animated as your pic with each post!

Thanks CBB for looking at it.  I had resized the av using photobucket edit.  Apparently, that edit program can not handle gif resizing.  I have studied the resized gif that is still there and only a portion of it resized.  I ended up using the online version from Gifworks.  I hope from one time to another I will remember this. 

The one being used is an entirely different copy than the one I originally got from you.

Owl, I look for gifs on various sites all the time and I cannot tell you how many times I run into avatars that I have made. The one you are using is from me originally wherever you got it. It was just a cute picture I found but wasn't animated, so I made the little girl's hand move and then added your owl animation to it. I'm a little limited in my "know how" for sparkles and trust me, that's my sparkle!  I have learned a couple of tricks over time, though! I think people comb through the avatar threads and adopt anything that fancies them! Anyway, thought I'd share with you what I had!  Before the forum revamped, a slightly larger sized avatar would work, but at this one it stops the animation. That probably explains the problem you were having. SORRY!

Again CBB, no problem.  I used to have a couple of programs that would edit and create animated gifs.  I had the ability to do several over lays with multiple gifs or just create one.  The major problem I run into is that they just do not keep up with my OS.  Since I upgraded to Mac Leopard almost a year ago, none of those applications that I paid for have bothered to provide upgrades.  This is one of the trials we Mac users go through.
