Just a short story that I found interesting.. After the hurricane I went down to look at my uncles trailer and when we got down to Homestead there were no more trailers.. We finally found a spot where his trailer used to be but nothing was there.. I was looking around at some panels and I lifted one up and there was a little parakeet alive and scared.. Well I picked him up and my uncle said that was his little parakeet and we brought him back to my house.. Well we put him in a cage and I kept thinking this little bird must have a tale to tell, if he could talk.. Then one day we got electricity and I had fans blowing the hot air and trying to dry things out, well one of the fans would blow every so ofter on this little parakeet and I watched his feathers get all fluffy and I realized this poor bird was reliving his experiences everytime this fan would blow on him.. I moved him..  

This uncle died about a month after the hurricane of some illness that they never really figured out what it was.. I think it was too much stress for him, he lost everything and gave up... So I think that these storms have a death toll thats after the fact that isn't reported..  All his friends lived in that trailer park and they were all gone..

Terry and others ~ I better clarify when I wrote that his stories and recollections were hilarious to me........I was speaking of the ex-wife story he had just relayed......NOT anything to do with the hurricanes ~  thought I better post this 'cause I don't want y'all to think I'm some sort of unfeeling loser. I miss reading all the various posts and different viewpoints on some of the issues.

The Monks that are still here are just great . . . I would just like to see those who are MIA.

I don't have the time or expertise to create an animation but I can modify it if it's already an animation.  Where is the .gif file?  Is there a link on the web to it?

It's already a animation,GIF file and it's in my files and on photobucket.

I would say no one forced Rudy because he is part of the coverup team.  Rudy has a plan.
