Just to reiterate my earlier speculation:

The fact that the cage is MUCH larger than anticipated pretty much rules out that Natalee was disposed of the first night. This also pretty much guarantees that a large ship (or helicopter) was involved. Put that together and you have a VERY large, coordinated cover-up.
I think they may have the "goods" on the Aruban Government being involved.

President Hugo Chavez ordered Venezuela's embassy in Colombia closed and sent thousands of troops to the countries' border Sunday after Colombia's military killed a top rebel leader.

Chavez told his defense minister: "move 10 battalions to the border with Colombia for me, immediately." He ordered the Venezuelan Embassy in Bogota closed and said all embassy personnel would be withdrawn.

The announcements by Venezuela's leftist leader pushed relations to their tensest point of his nine-year presidency, and Chavez warned that Colombia could spark a war in South America. He called the U.S.-allied government in Bogota "a terrorist state" and labelled President Alvaro Uribe "a criminal."

I think Natalee was buried and moved a few times before they finally disposed of her at sea. Probably about June 10th, when they announced she was found and then retracted it. I think the Aruban Government did it!!!!

A couple of hours ago I posted a thought about the size of this trap we see in the 6 photos and proposed its dimensions to be @ 18' x 24' 4 - 5'. I have since gone to Youtube and watched the video from Dateline and believe my dimensions to be off. I don't think it's that large based on the size of the two divers seen beside it. But this also make me not believe that what I thought was a skull could even be one. All of the "sheet" or plastic that the camera focuses on is in one quadrant and I think a body would be larger, merely based on the size of the two divers in proportion and relation to the cage itself. HOWEVER!

Did anyone notice the following:

The 6 photos posted had a time stamp of 12/29 @ 17:47, 17:56 and 17:57 and the dateline timestamps were different by 15 minutes.

At 17:32 on 12/29 there appears to be a "fish" or a "boot" on top of the trap that no longer appears on the still frames 15 minutes later  that Klaas posted.

Does anyone know what that thing on top of the trap was?

And more importantly; would anyone of you have just left the scene for the day after having found something "significant" only to return the next day? It was only in 90' of water, heck, put on the divesuit and jump in!!!!!!

" The next day,........ Hans Mos came on board to see what they had"  and they show footage of the vessel heading out, talks of double rainbows and dolphins leading the way and then another video with the timestamp of 12/30/


no mention of Christmas Day.
Does anyone know what gives with this discrepancy?

I think the plane is there as a show of force because Hugo is really in a snit right now, threatening his neighbors again.  And this action against FARC in Colombia is heavily sponsored by our DEA.  Operation Colombia was the original name of the operation but may have been changed by now if the mission evolved in some way or other.

So the DEA on Aruba (or Homeland Security??) may be there for this offensive.  It may have nothing to do with Natalee. 

 If the basket was dropped 2 weeks after Natalee disappeared, how was it being used for a post office.  I am so darned confused, and yes I have read everything!  And why did the Persistence really leave?????Help!!

That was my question back when they aired this tape.I could only come up with this:
joran is lying as usual and Natalee's body was not disposed up until that monday night.Would also explain the complete run around Beth and Jug got when trying to find out what happened to Natalee(when they arrived on aruba)....would also explain what Beth meant when she said deepak and joran were both all sweaty and dirty looking that night...not looking like they were hanging at the casinos all night.

Here's what I don't understand. If the Aruban Coast Guard disposed of Natalee's body (shivers), why was Persistence even allowed to search that area?
Did they think that Persistence wouldn't find the trap?

We don't know whether he was on board, but air force 2 plane did land and we have an exclusive picture in the DIARIO. No one knows anthing about this place nor who it brought to the island. Maybe tomorrow we can get some more info on it.

Jossy will be a guest tonight with Dana. Maybe he will know more by then. Also he will discuss JVDS and status of the reported mental hosptal stay.

The divers giving the "thumbs down" on Dateline was staged. Apparently, The Persistence went BACK on the 29th to make the "recovery." JMO
