Seems to me that the game plan of Aruba is to keep the focus off of Paulus, whether in defending Joran, or blaming Kalpoes, American media, internet blogs, and now Patrick. Whatever....all strategies are successfully keeping Paulus out of the spotlight. What does Paulus have that keeps him so protected? brought forward got me to think of why Paulus can do this. He has been an integral point man in Aruba govt contracts; in that position, he was well placed to support the drug cartel in money laundering thru tourism, hotels, major construction projects, and probably drug  running activities. So, that is where Paulus gets his power. He is a major cog in the drug cartels on Aruba/Curacao/etc. Calling in favors to the drug cartels that now protect him (big bucks that pay for all the high priced lawyers for Joran and pimps). The MEP also benefits big time, and will protect Paulus to keep things as before, including Coast Guard assets.    Whether Paulus (and other connected persons in govt/elders) were participates in the gang rape and ultimate murder of Natalee is open to further discovery. I also think the Persistence found potential evidence to support drug cartel involvement, and that has substantial raised the bar wrt the case. Hans Mos came in to make everything fade away...the Persistence has now changed that.

Credible people have said that Paul Van Der Sloot is involved in a Mafia,but that is not a rarity in Aruba at all as that Government has shown its true colors. He's arrested for suspicion of Premediated Murder and Kidnapping but suddenly changes his story and is released to never be questioned again. They release him as a suspect,allow him to become a member of the Aruban Bar and partners with Joran' Attorneys,He is also on several Government Committees. One of them was the Prison and we know he snuck in a cell phone to Joran so he could keep close contact with him,this didnt just happen in 2007 but also in 2005. The Chief Prosecuter in her last court appearance revealed that he said he had two contacts with Natalee Holloway and picked her and his son up at 4AM. But still till this day him and his son say they will never talk to the police again and it appears no one is doing anything about it. Joran and Paul also say they will both tell more but at a later date at there choosing. Even Hans FOS Mos said that PVDS is involved one way or another in Natalees dissapearance.

The show was not about finding Natalee but to show that the Government is lying about the whole case from the get go.
 
The show started with a peace about crisis management and what they should have done from the beginning. The show compared the Clinton case and the Joran Case. Where both lies in the beginning and at the end come back to you and haunt you for life.
 
Then they moved into the Search and Rescue person that shows that he has 30 years working in Venezuela on people rescue and that when a body is thrown to sea, it will always come to shore. He explain that it has to be far away to not come but even so, the current will bring it to shore.
 
He also said that let's assume that they have thrown it at sea, and used a block to secure it at the bottom of the sea, he explained that the salt water will disintegrate the cement block and the body will get loose and come back to shore.
 
Then the show went over Patrick van Eem and here Poentje was saying that Patrick put on a nice show when he was recorded for the show, but every thing change after the show. He contradict everything he said. He is also lying. When he was asked why he is doing this, he respond that he was doing it for Aruba but later showed a different Patrick.
 
Patrick is in this for money only and does not care about anyone not even Natalee.
 
When Poentje said that ok now it is over and the camera men were in the process of removing the equipment, they left Camera-2 rolling and it is here that Patrick started to show his dark side. He was talking about the Dirty ALE, He was talking About Drug deals, His deals and other government Deals, He was talking that the show of deVries was also a play. etc.
 
The 7 minute intro of what to come of the next 35 minute of the movie will be interesting.

Patrick admit that the whole thing is full of lies and that the cops know everything. He start metioning Cocain deals and he is saying that there are a lot of people involved.

Which "whole thing" is full of lies? Is he referring to Joran's story?

Interesting.  They make a big deal about how a weighted body will wash to shore, but they do not mention that a body inside a cage will not wash to shore.

Of course Patrick is in this for the money.  We knew this up front.  Yes, and he did a year in prison for a drug crime.  (That's a lot for the Netherlands, so it must have been a significant amount.)  Yes, the ALE is dirty--it's about time someone told the Arubans.  Yes, deVries' show was entertainment--didn't we all know this.  A news format, but entertainment, nonetheless.  Nothing new.

Only that the decision will rest with the OM and PG if they choose to bring this to trial. As of right now it mentions a penal case of being 10 years but without more investigating it will be hard to bring this to trial. I would guess that 10 years is something like Voluntary manlaughter.IMO

He claims to be such a stud, but where are all of his girl friends? Only Guido seems to have publicly claimed to have had sexual relations with him. And of course Depaak bragging that Joran him and Satish had sex in the same room at the same time with the same girl. I am deeply sorry also as last year I lot my Bullseye after 15 years and he too wanted to die peacefully and begged to go outside to do it as he had cancer. I lost my other cat months later from a exposed uterus after giving birth. They were only pets but a long time friend and it changed me forever. I understand Magnolia

Apparently what Patrick said are things everybody says about Aruba.  Why is it any different for him to say them than others?

I don't care about their drug cartels and all that because it is a choice that many there have made.  It's their problem.  Natalee is ours and she is what I want to know about.

Justice for Natalee is the only objective that I have.  That, and an equitable resolution for her family. 

Surely they are not going to be so stupid as to think they can show us a couple of drug deals and we will just forget all about what JORAN did to Natalee and why her parents now have no daughter.
