Chavez Closes Venezuela's Embassy in Colombia; Orders Troops to Colombia Border

President Hugo Chavez ordered Venezuela's embassy in Colombia closed and sent thousands of troops to the countries' border Sunday after Colombia's military killed a top rebel leader.

Chavez told his defense minister: "move 10 battalions to the border with Colombia for me, immediately." He ordered the Venezuelan Embassy in Bogota closed and said all embassy personnel would be withdrawn.

The announcements by Venezuela's leftist leader pushed relations to their tensest point of his nine-year presidency, and Chavez warned that Colombia could spark a war in South America. He called the U.S.-allied government in Bogota "a terrorist state" and labelled President Alvaro Uribe "a criminal."

If Columbia government is U.S. ally (not really in the know here)....then it is possible that AF2 is "on location" to provide safe haven for the removal of "friendly political allies" from a deteriorating situation in Columbia.....

I have a cousin that does the spy plane thing and arranges all sorts
of removals and such.  He took the plane into Iraq to get Jessica
Lynch out.
Plane looks just like the one in the pictures, but the AF2 thing is
confusing.

I knew what you were getting at -- there are several planes similar to that in the fleet.

THIS PLANE on Aruba has nothing to do with Natalee Holloway.

But with the Chit  between Venezuela and  Colombia heating up..
IF and I did say IF  our govt. is considering sending troops or other type of support for Colombia  ...   Aruba might be considered as a possible reource and a reason for AF2 being there.   Or at least so Venezuela thinks so .

Old Fart...the Persistence has left Aruba as of this morning at 8:20AM according to LegallyLex at BFN.... there are pictures of the boat leaving but they asked for them not to be moved off the site...

Just to reiterate my earlier speculation:

The fact that the cage is MUCH larger than anticipated pretty much rules out that Natalee was disposed of the first night. This also pretty much guarantees that a large ship (or helicopter) was involved. Put that together and you have a VERY large, coordinated cover-up.
I think they may have the "goods" on the Aruban Government being involved.

about the disposing of the body: In the PRDV tape joran says as he is with "Daury" : I ll go to the casino tomorrow to be on camera. Why go on camera to establish some sort of alibi one day after the body has been disposed of?

His story has to fit his actions so he attempts to create a story that matches the facts?

He was telling this to Patrick who would normaly have no way to verify if this was true or not. And since he was taped without his knowledge, why bring it up in the first place?

Wait.... I just watched it again and Hansen says " the day they FIRST saw that trap, Christmas Eve......" and the gentlemen are watching a video with the date and timestamp reading 12/29.

" The next day,........ Hans Mos came on board to see what they had"  and they show footage of the vessel heading out, talks of double rainbows and dolphins leading the way and then another video with the timestamp of 12/30/


no mention of Christmas Day.
Does anyone know what gives with this discrepancy?

The divers giving the "thumbs down" on Dateline was staged. Apparently, The Persistence went BACK on the 29th to make the "recovery." JMO

Is it possible that there were two traps? 

I got my dates messed up -- but my speculation is the same -- what we saw on "Dateline" was staged.

I remember reading either here or at BFN...Kyle saying that He was upset that Dateline ran the story when they did.... and that they had broke their agreement with Tim and Someone..anyone else read this...

My main regret with the broadcast is John Silvetti not getting the credit he was due.  John's the owner of the Persistence, owner of Marine Surveys LLC, and the field project manager of the search. 
Regardless how good of a production it was - Generally speaking, there should never be a broadcast giving details about an active investigation.  When the investigation is complete and no longer potentially sensitive to either the case, victims family, or suspect (s), then sure... why not broadcast it.  It is irresponsible and potentially damaging to do what they did (broadcasting the show while the search is still active) and they broke their agreement with Tim and John to make this production.
