The killing of a terrorist is not a reason to go to war, and it's quite obvious Chavez is hankerin' for a fight. This excursion to kill the terrorist has nothing to do with Venezuela.

Now whether Chavez wants to try out his new hardware or he has other ideas about the region will be known shortly. He will either follow through on his proclamations or he will back down and lose face among the socialist that are his supporters.

I think he will lose his new hardware in prompt fashion should he engage one of our allies. Chavez is reckless and he's going to put the people in Venezuela in a very very bad position.

No matter how you slice and dice this situation, it doesn't look good.

I am convinced after reading it all that is why cheney cancelled his trip to turkey, obviously he had the intelligence and saw the troop movement and quickly flew to Aruba for diplomatic relations. Even after all the games and lies out of Aruba they are allies with our Govt and are important if a war breaks out, because they are only 18 miles off the Venezuelan coast. Unfortunately Natalee Holloway is the least of our Governments concerns right now.
---------------------
"Mr. Defense Minister, move 10 battalions to the border with Colombia for me, immediately — tank battalions. Deploy the air force," Chavez said during his weekly TV and radio program. "We don't want war, but we aren't going to permit the U.S. empire, which is the master (of Colombia) ... to come divide us."

"This could be the start of a war in South America," Chavez said. He warned Uribe: "If it occurs to you to do this in Venezuela, President Uribe, I'll send some Sukhois" — Russian warplanes recently bought by Venezuela.

Venezuela better think long and hard about this. This won't be a war, this is Bush's last chance, and don't think he won't do it. Chavez will soon be sitting with Sadam in hell. Did you see those pictures of Sadamm crawling out of the well? Of his hanging? Chavez, put the coco leaves down, get a good nights sleep, and rethink this

Well, I am just furious that they are trying to discredit Patrick!

And can't help but wonder what is the "all" that is "going to come out" now???  Will Patrick become the only person in Aruba ever arrested for cocaine use?  LoL.

This is so lame it would be hilarious if not such a smarmy, stupid thing to do.

Anybody, just anybody at all except Joran!  Again!

.

Aruba is going to claim that Patric killed Natalee...

Many at RU have been trying to pin it on Perry, Patricks brother, for quite a while now. At least they are suggesting Perry is involved, somehow.

Nuts,
I just don't have time to follow what that gang is up to even though they are so fond of stalking my posts.

How and why do they make this ridiculous claim?

That is totally illogical because of what Joran said on the tape to Patrick.  He wouldn't be describing this person to him; he'd say YOUR BROTHER instead of Daury/Daddy!

Nope, Joran didn't say one word about his secret helper being Patrick's brother or anyone Patrick might know.

They are making stuff up again.

Another point,

In the previous demonstrations against Chavez, including the one where Chavez stole RCTV, those all took place in Caracas. So, in a sense I fear this will be an urban war and will take place in downtown Caracas. This scenario would have the largest amount of casualties and destruction of the infrastructure.

Good Morning Monkeys~

Thanks for the recap of the shows lastnite.

I want to bring attention to the pic 0-1p 91.7ft 12/29/07/17:47

I put it on my largest monitor and stood back ten feet.

I don't recommend doing this if you are weak.

That is a skull in that trap.

Below is not a pic of the trap but a skull found in St. Kitts. just for comparison.

Good morning Monkeys,
I've been trying to catch up but can't seem to make heads or tails of what's going on.What was the new piece of tape never seen before all about?Aruba is going to blame Patrick? What a sick picture on the front page by a Dutch Artist?I think he is not an artist.A guy laying on his belly with jocky shorts on is supposedly Natalee Holloway?Looks like some idiot just made a sign and layed them there..There is a place called hell for people like this...

Bladerunner, if you remember before the Iraq war started, Bush launched a decapitation strike on Wednesday nite. We had never before tried that move and I believe we may have perfected it since then. I know that Kim il Jong was worried we would try that on him and he was hiding for months on end.

I *think* we might be able to fly a missile into Chavez's bedroom window now.

Old Fart...the Persistence has left Aruba as of this morning at 8:20AM according to LegallyLex at BFN.... there are pictures of the boat leaving but they asked for them not to be moved off the site...

Yes, I just read that over there. Well, it won't be long before those photos will be all over...starting with RU, I'll bet. Hell, 1/2 of RU are members at BFN and BNH. How do they expect those photos to stay there Rolling Eyes . I won't take them, but we all know MANY from RU and BNH sure will!!

What a way to promote a DONATION. This is ridiculous, like BFN are the only ones that cared, supported and have donated?

I apologize but I have just about had it with them. That island is so backward, ignorant, and crooked that it is a waste of oxygen for it to continue.

Last year a lot of people left Venezuela for Colombia and Brazil. The people with any means at all left. The people still in Venezuela are lower income and hardly in the position to make any hay about what Chavez is doing.

The person that sent me the riot photos last year - Carlos Lares - is in the National Guard and he told me that if Chavez ordered them to fire on the civilians again they would shoot Chavez himself.

So there is division among the army and the national guard. Chavez may find out that the civilians may turn on him, and the military may not protect him.

Anna...I just checked and didn't bookmark the thread. All I can remember, and once I found it I didn't read any further, was some sort of Press release with the word 'infiltrator' in it. I am not sure now who the release was credited to.

There was also discussion about Dompig mentioning it if I recall correctly.

If I get a chance I will go back and find it, there was a lot of posting going on at that time, but do remember the date it was posted as it was DD 21st. b'day.

Thirty months ago I let my darling Cocker Spaniel, Harry out at
11:00 PM.  Harry was 18 years old and had the sense of a human.
He didn't come in and I looked and looked for him for weeks.
I figured he was dead but there was always that little part that
worried if he might be hungry or sad or mistreated.
I found Harry today and it was such a sence of relief. He had did peacefully
at the edge of the woods.  Nothing left but his lovely blond hair, but I finally knew where he was and I was so relieved.  I kinda know how Beth feels.
Harry and I had a funeral this afternoon.

Magnolia, I am so sorry.  Big hugs to you on the loss of Harry.

Klaasend:

watch the news of tomorrow on what the comments are today from Hans MOS...He is pisst on the search in Monserat. My bother was telling me that MOS want to know all the detail and how they came about to that area.

...Hmmmmm..

I was not there to listen to the news today...but MOS is upset....

What would upset MOS so much about the pond being searched?  Not authorized???

Yeah, especially since didn't Kyle say they didn't find anything anyway?

Why would Mos even care?
