Hmmmmm.. Now we have transmission fluid possibly in the brother's car and also on a mattress. The car is normally kept in immaculant condition, according to the mom. Perhaps that's a link.

There was a picture posted here at SM at one time...not sure at the moment who took it, but it was of an old dirty mattress somewhere behind the fisherman's huts....just wondering if those posts are referring to it...(my apology if this was already mentioned - I have not read back too far on this thread)

Joran is not some innocent little boy. He drinks heavily prior to the legal age, drives illegally, gambles illegally, and is a brawler. He threw one kid threw a plate glass window a week earlier, and he tried to pick a fight with another kid at C&C's the same night Natalee vanished. He is also a known womanizer, which is somewhat understandable for a young man, but still it gives you an indication the kid was out of control. I need to add Natalee's mom reported he had an arrogant attitude towards her.

So apparently to sum it all up; they were lying from the beginning.. Joran apparently calling from the Santa Lucia area at around 6:30 am -- maybe they led everyone to believe they went west to the California Lighthouse.. when then actually went up around the Santa Lucia area (sooner or later).. and thereby Natalee's body may be around the Santa Lucia area.

Linda Allison, Natalees aunt is talking about Paulus sweating and wringing his hands when Greta and Holloway-Twitty was at the VDS.
I also noticed that daddy sloot was sweating profusely during the Greta interview. Someone said on an earlier post that it sure was convenient that the telephone rang and daddy sloot took the opportunity to leave the interview altogether.

He was obviously very uncomfortable and nervous. His body language spelled "guilty" if you ask me. I doubt daddy sloot has even told his wife the truth, but he definitely has crucial information involving his son, and may have helped get rid of Natalee (dead or alive). If not, and he's innocent, Joran will start talking to protect his dad, IMO.

Aruba authorities have charged two men in the disappearance of 18-year-old Natalee Holloway, the Alabama girl who went missing last week during a high school senior trip.

Natalee is the daughter of Dave Holloway of Meridian and Beth Twitty of Birmingham.

The two arrests came nearly a week after Holloway disappeared while celebrating her Mountain Brook High School graduation with a five-day trip to the Dutch Caribbean island with classmates.

Many feared the worst when authorities announced they had found a blood-soaked mattress at a beach in eastern Aruba, but police says it turned out to be blood from a dead dog found nearby.

At a Sunday news conference, Attorney General Caren Janssen said the men arrested, ages 28 and 30, were picked up at two separate homes in the southeastern community of San Nicolas.

Police knocked on the door of one house, put the suspect on the floor and handcuffed him. Officers later detained the second man. They both were led to an unmarked police car and taken away. Police also left the premises with bags holding unidentified items.

Neighbors described the men as security guards who worked at a hotel closed down for renovation near where the teen was staying at the Holiday Inn. Aruba's deputy police chief, Gerold Dompig, confirmed that the suspects were security guards.

Janssen declined to provide the specific charges, saying the case will go before a local judge within 48 hours of the arrests to determine whether the detentions are legal.

A reward of about $50,000 is being offered for Holloway's safe return.

Janssen says authorities called for a special FBI diving team because of rough currents in some areas. She says authorities had not found any of Holloway's belongings at the suspects' homes.

Authorities impounded three vehicles found at the two homes, and a team of more than a dozen FBI agents will help perform forensic testing on them.

I have a very vague recollection of it after 2NJ reminded me  2NJ posted above that she thinks we may have a picture on one of the older threads.
