Anidac, she's so pretty!!  I really like the vette, but I have to confess having fallen in love with my little T-bird.  I'm only 5' tall and that little T-bird fits me to a T!

Believe it or not, that's my commuter car.  Hubby just ordered a Z06 in Blue.  This was my Valentines Day present.

Evidently you don't need new kitchen counters and floors.

No but I need to finish the carpet job upstairs, the main bathroom renovations, new windows & doors, and gutters.  Not to mention finishing the deck.  That is what hubby and I are doing for the next 2-3 weeks.  He has 3 weeks off and I have another week.

My sister had on of those when we were growing up.  This was in the mid 80's mind you.  She dug that car, but it broke down a lot...

What you mean "warm you up"?  That'd be our dinner stop on the way to the month old movie theatre (discounted tickets, of course) to see "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo"!  Hey...you want chili and cheese on your hot dog?  Wink

I dated a guy once who drove a Karman Ghia.  I was 18 and thought that car was the cutest thing I'd ever seen.  Didn't care for the guy, but the car was da bomb!

Wow!  A two vette household.  My hubby drools over the Z06, and I keep shaking my head at him.  Our cars are relatively affordable, but a new Z06 is out of my range.  Beautiful car and I'm sure you will both love it!

They are expensive but we have never done anything for ourselves.  We haven't even been on vacation since we where married 25 years ago.  Raised 4 kids and worked our asses off.  The vettes, our Harley, and the pool are the three toys we have to show for all the years of hard work.

I couldn't handle it now, heater didn't work well, no A/C of course, but when I was young I liked it.  I let some kids work on it at the school I taught at and they ruined it.  Caught on fire one day.

and well-deserved, I am sure!  These two cars are our rewards, also, as we always drove older, cast-off compacts inherited from a relative to economize.  We didn't buy either new, but we baby them to the point where they feel and look new.  I love the way a convertible makes me feel 18 again whenever I put the top down.  That is worth every penny!
