MominTN - Actually my problem is the way our house is set up.  Don't get me wrong, I like the set up.  The living, dining and kitchen are like one big room, very open.  My work area is at one side of the dining room (which we never dine in anyway).  My husband doesn't care to watch Greta and honestly, he's a little burnt out with the case.  Right now he's watching nascar.  If I had a TV next to my computer it would be too distracting for me and my husband.  So, if I feel a need to watch Greta or Rita, I just go in the other room.   Wink   We actually have more TV's than we use right now, lol  Laughing

As for Dana's radio shows, I use headphones so as not to distract whatever my husband may be watching on TV.

I hope he's worth it.  I'd hate to have someone tell me what I could do or not do.

NOBODY tells me what to do.  Marriage is a compromise.  If it was REALLY important to me he would turn on whatever I wanted.

A girl after my own heart.

You do what works for you.

Klaas ~ you have a world of patience here ~ I honestly don't know how you do it.

http://patriot.net/~crouch/haguetext.html

For anyone interested in the posts I questioned the other day about JQK invoking the Hague Convention -- I've pasted a link to the the Hague Convention.

Several things came to mind -- albeit I need to read much more closely and research way more....

The wording of JQK's initial filing seems to contain similar language to this legal document.

JQK's filing never mentions 'wrongful death' -- neither does the convention.

Both the US and the Netherlands are subscribers to the convention -- I don't see Aruba mentioned. Not sure of the impact.

I see no mention of 'recovery' in the convention.

Anyway -- I find it all interesting. My gut is that JQK is one smart lawyer.

ANY LEGAL MINDS HERE????

For those who were not interested -- sorry for wasting the space.

Good morning Monkeys!

Quick update on Uncle Mike.

Again his trial was delayed.

I believe this is the 11th time.

And so it goes.......

Although have followed many missing persons cases on news coverage, this is the first one I have actually posted on forums about and all this is new to me and shocking.   Shocked I was totally unprepared for anybody trashing the victim or the family and it just knocked my socks off.  I still dont know what to think of it.  I did not realize this happens at all and did not think people could dare be so mean.  Just stunned by it all and it never ceases to amaze me at how low some people would have to be to say and do what they do.

WHY do they do it????

.

Mental illness comes to mind.

Just read this on another site so it could just be rumor but interesting if not..

"Steve Croes ...everyone said got fired from the Tatoo, then got the job at C&C and now is back working the Tatoo?"..

No conflict of interest, no morals, no body, no case, no truth..  I see that island as a big wheel that keeps going around, someone needs to stop the wheel for the NO's can become YES..

Not just any mental illness, either, Carnut. On Axis II are the personality disorders. They are a breed of their own classification. A hallmark is that they create a great deal of stress in those with whom they come into contact.

Good Morning to you!  Yes, I'm working on my first pot of coffee and still sizing up the day.  Many things to do today, but I am going to be lazy for a couple of hours.

Good that should be interesting!

Ya know, a week or so ago, I mentioned to Dana that someone started a list of people they would like to hear on his program and Art Wood was in the top five.  Dana wanted a link to that list, but the board crashed before I could give it to him.  Does anyone remember the list, or could a new one be started for Dana's use?

I don't remember who was on that list, maybe we should start a new one?
