I see y'all were reminiscing about your first automobiles. Mine was a sixty something or other blue volkswagen, that car knew the way home all by itself is all I can figure cause many a night I sure could not find my way home!!!!!

Every once in awhile it would die on me in the middle of the road and I would literally get out and give it a good hard kick and the sucker would start running again.... TRUTH!!!!

I have been receiving e-mails from Angie....last I heard BT was thinking on taking a little breaky.......
I have been so busy trying to get ready for this world series we are travelling to and getting my help set up for when I am gone that I have not really had much time to chat with anyone....

Thanks Justinsmama.  I believe I am where I am supposed to be too.  I had trouble accepting my limitations at first, but God has pointed me another direction.  I think of it as an early retirement now.

My mother's first new car was a Vega. All of the adolescents in our family and even a neighbor learned to drive on it. She had a Chevy Nova that I totaled by running into a parked car.  

I had a 1976 (?) chevette. Bought it in 1985 for $500. The bottom was nearly rusted out when I bought my first new car 3 years later. Went through three new Fords (two  Escorts) before I finally learned that they were not worth it, and got my first Honda. On my third one now, and will keep it for Justin when he drives in six years!  

I started out with a huge 1965 car of some kind. I don't remember what it was. Big old thing, though. A family of six could have lived comfortably in that thing.

OMG, I had an Escort after I got rid of one of the Chevettes! Drove it off the lot to go to work at a movie theater and then when my lunch break came up, I went outside to my "new" used car and clunk clunk clunk, it wouldn't crank!!!!!!

Peaches, musta been nice having a 'stang...That was the car I wanted when I turned 16...several years later I got my wish, but it wasn't one of the cool old ones...totalled it a couple of months after I got it...(not my fault)...
