"do ya'll want me to tell you who the killer is in the movie or wait a while longer so some can see it? it is so utterly fake and unbelievable anyway but I dont want to spoil the movie for anyone."

Well, if you would go and read from this link;
http://blackdahliasolution.org/solution.htm

You would agree the killer is Ed Burns.

Hi Shell, you cutie pie!

Haven't seen you in a while and I'm happy to see you again.

Thank you for your information. I googled Studio 60/Jordan but could not find anything relevant.

I seriously doubt the film shoot I stumbled upon was a taping for the new series.  A full frontal nude pic of a woman talking about her body cannot yet be shown on prime time TV.

Also it was curious to me why they were filming this tall, very thin woman with very small breasts for any reason.  What could it be used for? Recovering anorexics? Maybe for a porn movie for people who have a fetish for small breasts. I'm telling you they were small. That was the first thing I noticed and wondered about.

***************

I, too, read the bad reviews about the movie and I will skip it also.

I have Steve Hodel's book, "Black Dahlia Avenger" and he really seems to prove his case that his father did it - 559 pages of history.

Porn has been around for a very long time - before cameras were invented. And I understand the LAPD was very corrupt in those days. Just a few years ago, we had another police scandal here in Los Angeles.  According to Steve Hodel, many of the files and evidence have disappeared and they declared the case closed, unsolved.

Dr. George Hodel had a venereal disease clinic in downtown LA. Who knows how many police officers, politicians and whoever he treated?  Then they were in Dr. Hodel's pocket because they were obligated to him to not tell their wives and break up their marriages.

Excerpt from a book review:

Now comes Exquisite Corpse. It is a strange book, sketchy but unforgettable, tendentious but instructive. It is the work of Mark Nelson, a design director, and Sarah Hudson Bayliss, an art history journalist. Its area of autopsy is that of art history, of a corpse so "exquisite" that complicity in its making may extend to a loose circle of surrealists or pseuds in Los Angeles who were motivated by sexual curiosity, a search for the acte gratuit, and by a larger postwar feeling that evil had been let loose and would not go back into the bottle. In brief, Exquisite Corpse reckons that the stark whiteness glimpsed on January 15, 1947 was not just a sign of murder but also a tableau alluding to several works of art -- a terrible private joke.

The authors accept George Hodel as the mind making the connection, but they feel that he may have been part of a circle of picture-makers entranced by the morbid dislocation of body parts that had begun with Picasso and Cubism

Mrs Red
What were some things that you took away from the interview? I haven't listened to it yet {{bad me bad me}} Can you tell me what you thought of it?
And was it you that said you were going to get the book?

Spooky... that interview is long... it is 90 minutes and Mr. Hodel got into very detailed pieces of his life and what I took away from it was just how possible, how very possible it was that Mr. Hodel did indeed solve the crime.

I haven't bought the book yet, but I need to!  The interview was at times a little hard to listen to, because he gave such detail.... but after hearing all of the detail... it just really was interesting.  For the first time Red actually has knowledge about this case... and he really had never heard anything about it before...
