Lee deputies search for missing woman

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The Lee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing person.

Dawn Christina Lofton (DOB 1/3/73) has not been seen or heard from since February 5, 2010.

Family and friends say it is highly unusual for her to not be in contact with anyone.

Her phone was found by neighbors near her home, located at 8355 Penny Drive, North Fort Myers, in the days following her disappearance.

Lofton sometimes uses the last name "Paddie", rather than Lofton.

She is described as a white female, brown hair, brown eyes, 5'4", 130 lbs.

Anyone with any information on Dawn Lofton's whereabouts is asked to call the Lee County Sheriff's Office at (239) 477-1000, or to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000, call

LEE COUNTY: Lee County deputies are swarming a North Fort Myers neighborhood after learning about a woman who has not been seen in weeks.

Dawn Christina Lofton, 37, lives at 8355 Penny Drive in North Fort Myers. Deputies we spoke to say she has not been seen since February 6.

Lofton has brown hair, brown eyes, stands 5'4'' tall and weighs 130 pounds.

The sheriff's office says all of her belongings were found inside the home and her cell phone was found in Fort Myers on the side of a road.

Deputies say there is nothing to indicate she is in danger, but she's been gone long enough that there is cause for concern.

Deputies have been in and out of the home were Lofton lives all day long.
