Peaches,

Just wanted to let you know that I am headed to Lincoln tomorrow for the Spring Game to watch our beloved Huskers... and I will cheer extra loud for you. I will also have something with Peach Schnapps just for you... seriously. I know you will like that.   

Hang tough sister - we are all standing with you.  Lots of prayers and hugs from my house to yours.

UPDATE from Mr. Peaches  

Hi this is Dan,

Can you please do me a HUGE favor and let all Peaches friends at Scared Monkeys know that Peaches surgery today went extremely well? I am not very adept at finding the appropriate place to post this. Here is what her doctor told us:

He removed the 5 tumors that we knew were there from the CT scan she had 6 months ago. He found a little bit of other stuff that he suspected could be there that was not large enough to show up on a CT scan and removed it also. He said he looked at everything, they looked extensively up, down and side to side for anything that could possibly be there that wasn't supposed to be there. He said what he found was "limited" and it has all been removed. Peaches has been optimally treated surgically and is now completely free of visible disease. She went through surgery very well and will be in the hospital 4 to 5 days instead of the 5 to 7 days they anticipated. The doctor was very pleased about how everything went.

This is definitely the best case scenario and what I hoped to hear from her surgeon. They removed an insignificant percentage of her liver which will replace what was removed in only 4 to 8 weeks with no impact whatsoever on function.

Thanks for all your best wishes and especially your prayers for Peaches. Please keep the prayers going because God does listen and so far he has answered everyone's prayers by making all of her surgical procedures work out with the best possible results.

Wow! I expected good news but this is the best...I Believe in Miracles...God Bless You Peaches and DH....Sincerely PC...MY Prayers will continue for a Full Recovery...
