I must have taken too long of a break, because I cannot even begin to understand some of the discussion:)

But I do remember that Joran is the one who is my focus , as are the Kalpoes and Paulus. No matter which way the wind blows, no matter what, a small amount of time with them will yield the answers Beth is looking for.

And if we ever actually stumble on this Duary or whomever, then he will get his just reward now. But there is no sense going off chasing or blaming an illusion at this point. And maybe it isn't a massive coverup, but the local dirty dutch and Rudy are certainly conspiring to cover it up. And scripted or not, Patrick managed to get Joran to prove he was a druggie, Natalee went in a semi coma in his presence and care, and he had her dumped in the ocean not knowing that she was dead, so he murdered her. When we find her a can do an autopsy, then we can determine if she died before she was drowned. But, no body, no autopsy, thus murder.

Some of the Simian posts sure seem to refer to palaces and black robes/garments.  Also refers to gold.
Wink

Please!!!  It is not Simian or Shango......

Shango and Simian talk about palaces...Merian about black togas.

Shango talks about gold bricks.... Rolling Eyes

Merian Ernest Posted: Wed Jul 13, 2005 5:43 pm Post subject: Ingrown nails and bruised
toes hiding under black togas....

Look for counsels tomorrow getting off on tainted stories and rotten reputations.

Phones hacked by the babylonian hand. 112 pieces of the puzzle that don't fit.

The well is full of technicalities. Do not be surprised. Merian has been right before.

Merian Ernest Posted: Wed Jul 13, 2005 5:52 pm Post subject: Know the passage...
Read with care. Forked tongues with framed reputations on their walls. Crawling in the
palace looking for trapdoors and cracks in the floor.

Do not be surprised. Only the package from The Hague holds the thin layers of answers.
Never has mail been so late.

Never noticed that before - "forked tongues with framed reputations on their walls."

To me, that implies a fake degree.

Is Bouwman a common name there, Caps?

Birmingham News

Police arrested a teen Thursday who spent time with Natalee Holloway during her visit here and may have been one of the last people to see her before she disappeared.

Police detained Joren van der Sloot, 17, after a 6 a.m. raid of his home in the town of Montana. They also arrested two brothers, Depak, 17, and Datish Kalpoe, 18, in the town of Hooiberg.

Attorney General Karin Janssen would not specify what charges the three could face.

Deputy Police Chief Jan van der Straten said Holloway met van der Sloot in the casino attached to her hotel two days before she disappeared. Family friends say Holloway knew that van der Sloot had spent much of the week playing cards in the casino with a group of boys from the trip.

Employees at the Holiday Inn casino said van der Sloot and the Kalpoes were part of a group of young regulars at the poker tables. They also said teens from the Mountain Brook group visited often during their five-day trip, playing cards with the local boys and drinking heavily, sometimes before noon.

Brenda Bouwman, marketing manager for the casino, said everybody who worked there knew the Mountain Brook teenagers “because they were partying and they were loud.” She said Holloway was seen with a group at the blackjack tables on Sunday, May 29, although she did not think the girl was gambling.

(I hope I trimmed this up right.)

OK so my thinking on 'no body no case' moved forward to current info Joran has admitted doing away with Natalee dead or alive (with a friend maybe) means that he cannot even prove that she was deceased, yes? Doesn't Geen lijk geen zaak backfire on Joran in this case? It wasn't a body he so cavalierly disposed of, he's basically admitted murder and cannot prove that he didn't?

Thats exactly the way I see it too, Granny -- maybe that is why he is in hiding...all his legal advisors said -- Whoops!

Before Joran did his confession, Pa v.d.S. said: "no body no case".  Of course it was better to get rid of the body.
Maybe something unexpected happened,  "they"" decided to make up a story (Googling for drugs and alcohol) but later they decided to get rid of the body because it leaves more time to cover up. And with some luck maybe even "no body no case".

Since Jorans confessions you can't say "no body no case" anymore of course.

Caps

Vanity Fair

...Before I went to Aruba, she told me that the Kalpoe family had been embroiled in the odd death of a former maid, and that Mrs. Kalpoe had been detained; it turned out the case had involved another family...

Not to break everyones train of thought, but I have a question.  I seem to remember that there was a private plane of someone from Saudi Arabia.  Does anyone remember this and who was it?  This could technically tie in to all kinds of political stuff.
YES
Prince Nayef Bin Sultan Bin Fawwaz Al-Shaalan is the Saudi who had his yacht parked in the harbor off of Aruba the week Natalee vanished.

There was a very prominent hotel/restaurant owner by the name of Ike Cohen.  IIRC, he owned Manchebo Resort.  I think he died a year or two ago. I could never tract a link to Steve Cohen (the media rep)...at one time, we even looked through Ike's 90th? birthday pictures, to see if we could find Steve.

The Noord3 could be an address. I am not good on addresses. LOL
