What I really want to know is why didn't any of you super duper intelligent monkeys out there know that the Kalpoes father/step father owned that Indo Restaurant and the Lions Den next door?  How on earth did that get past all of us?  Then again...maybe it is just me that didn't know this until this week. 

I am as shocked as you are if true! We know he bought the Cyberzone cafe also in 2005. What does this guy do for work again? I saw he was driving a brand new cadillac last year. It seems everyone from Aruba that was involved has prospered.

I'll be interested to see how that works out after vms' chamber posts.

As for the cyberzone, that whole business appears to be a net of maybe $15K... some old computer, a copier, a desk, a phone line... very small business. I can't see anyone paying much for it. And just taking over the lease could be a fair exchange because the rent is so high at that location..

My friend Danny has a surf store in the same bldg and he was always complaining how expensive it was.

A new car on Aruba is very expensive. There is a lady that has a newer model Mercedes that is used as a taxi. It has a small horseshoe attached to the grill.. anyway.. she bought the car as new a few years back for about 70K and the same car here in the US was around 45K...big mark up and import taxes.

Going by this assumption...how much would Deepak's car have cost him?  Would he have that kind of money working at the internet cafe? Just thinking out loud here and you know how that gets me into lots of trouble.

I remember the day they searched the Kalpoe home last year and his step father showed up in Deepaks Honda,he was also seen driving a new Cadillac. What is curious to me is that it appears they sold the business after the renewed Investigation and the inspection and research at there house. Did they do the same for there business?

I don't understand it either. The Debipersad Kalpoe name was thrown around back in the beginning of the case because it is listed in the phone book. I've never seen anything to verify a connection to Deepak and Satish though. Maybe Caps will explain how he made the connection...

I believe that the only part of the "confession" that rings true is the "shaking".  That the the only part of the "confession" that can be backed up.

Jug and Beth were questioned by the Dennis Jacobs on June 1, 2005 in regards to Natalee and seizures.  Joran's May 31, 2005 witness statement was destroyed ... WHY?

EVERYTHING ELSE HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE A LIE!

How can Joran be charged with "disposing of a body".  A seventeen year old young man does not have theexpertise/  qualifications to determine death.

Also ... if it is believed that Joran acted alone ... then the gardeners observation/testimony is negated.  Freddy's witness statements regarding both the shaking and the involvement of Deepak and Satish are negated.  The Superior Court's ruling that Paulus did declare to the Twitty Group that he picked up Joran at McDonalds at 4:00 AM on the morning Natalee Holloway went missing is negated.

I believe that the video recording "confession" is all an elaborate scheme ... all about implicating "only" Joran and ... distancing the Kalpoes who can implicate Paulus ... distancing the Pimps who can implicate Paulus ... distancing those who assisted Paulus in moving Natalee's body on the morning of May 30, 2005 and ... distancing those in the Dutch/Aruban administration/judiciary who were aware of or involved in the coverup that has denied Natalee Holloway justice.

It defies my comprehension how Peter Devries and Patrick vander Eem can perfectuate the lie "The Case is Solved.  We got a Confession from Joran."

From the moment that I read the rough translation of the phone interview with Joran one day prior to the airing of the video recording ... I have felt that this was another Aruban deception and ... I have not changed my mind since.

Time will tell.  If I have to eat crow ... so be it.

Monday afternoon on the 30th, Joran came to my house.

He told me that the previous day, Sunday, he had befriended a girl in the Holiday Inn casino and that she had invited him to come to Carlos and Charlies that evening. He went and they danced and drank together.

After that he, Deepak Satish and the girl drove off. Her friends saw that. The drove in the direction of the Lighthouse; a white car was behind them and most likely wanted to race Deepak. But that is something Deepak would never do. Joran told me that he fingered and had french kissed the girl while they were driving. He did not say that he had had sex with her.

They drove to the Lighthouse, she wanted to see sharks. But Deepak only drove up to the Lighthouse because his car is very low to the ground and cannot drive up to the North side of Aruba.

The girl had said to Joran that if Deepak and Satish would have lived in her town, they would be slaves.

After that they drove to the hotel. When the girl had pushed open the door of the car, she fell to the ground. Joran wanted to help her but she shoved him away.

The next day, Tuesday May 31st 2005 in the afternoon, I was with Joran at the raquetclub. Joran looked worried. He asked me if I could remember what he had said the previous day about the girl. I told him yes. The girl had gone missing. The FBI had been to his house during the night but he had not been home. His father had called him to find out where he was, Joran said that he was in the Raddison Casino. He told he that after that phone call he was called on the phone by Deepak and that Deepak picked him up a few minutes later. They drove to Joran's house. The FBI and the girls family were at his house. After that Joran told me that Deepak, Satish and himself did not drop off the girl at the Holiday Inn Hotel, but that the four of them drove to the beach at the north side of the Marriot Hotel. The girl had fallen several times on the way to the beach. Joran told me that at some point she "no longer came around/no longer regained consciousness" and that they had left her on the beach. He also told me that he had left his gym/sporting shoes on the beach. After Joran had told me this, I asked him why he had left her there. He answered me that at that moment he had not known what to do. Joran told me that after this he was dropped off at home by Deepak and Satish.

Kalpoe's stepdad is no longer the owner of the Cyber Cafe last I checked.  I was of the belief that it was Kawish Misers's uncle that owned the Indo and VIP.  For Caps to be correct then Kawish's uncle would be the K2's real father.  Possible, but I need more info before I believe it.
