Check your fridge. The Agriculture (web|news) Department says almost 300,000 pounds of fresh and frozen meat and poultry products may be contaminated with listeria. The products, made by Gourmet Boutique, are distributed nationwide.

Some of the products are sold under the names "Jan's" and "Archer Farms." Although there have been no reports of illness, listeria can give you fever, headaches, chills, and nausea. It can kill those with weakened immune systems.

In response to the recall, the company says it has now made "environmental changes."

I believe I've seen "Archer Farms" products carried at Target Stores...
