My vote is for version 3.  The first two are way too sappy, and I am not feeling that loving toward Aruba right now, especially when no one will stand up and tell the populace what a lying b*itch Rene Guillen is.

Do any Monkeys have the sofware to do a page layout with the finished version of the article...along with a couple of photos of Natalee...we'll have to agree on which ones...a photo of beth...agree again...the Kermie photo with the reward info...and several photos of the people of Aruba searching?  If someone can do this...we are way ahead of the game...let's get the photos first...then finish the fine tuning to the article...and someone put it together with a link to here....how does that sound...any Monkey in the publishing business here that can help...the more professional we make this look...all the better...TIA...Des

Destiny - I am sorry I was not able to provide more input for this ad; this is right up my alley. Especially since I considered doing the same thing myself two years ago (1 year "anniversary"). I still can't do much, but I would go with Verson #3; I just like its tone best.

I would advise that you think twice about making it longer. I've always thought that Diario is "tabloid" size rather than what most of us think of as "newspaper" size. (Admittedly I am not sure of that - we only see the online version.) Since the same verbiage is to appear in 3 languages - with several photos - a lot is going on. Allow for some plain white space. And I think the font size should be 12 pt rather than 10 pt, if possible.

If you want to add something, first try to take something out.

I do so applaud your efforts with this. I know you have had some chaos in your life, too, lately ... hope and prayers be with you.

I can convert to centimeters in Photoshop.  There are a million different photos of Natalee.  I'll see if I can post a couple.  Sort of playing with a new PC right now

Employees at the Holiday Inn casino said van der Sloot and the Kalpoes were part of a group of young regulars at the poker tables. They also said teens from the Mountain Brook group visited often during their five-day trip, playing cards with the local boys and drinking heavily, sometimes before noon.
