http://www.ipsn.org/lolli1.html

Acting through his underboss, Rocco Ernest Infelise, head of one of the largest "street crews" in Chicago, Ferriola directed Jahoda to lure 51-year-old Robert Heyden Plummer to the outfit's elegantly appointed "Murder Mansion" in northern Libertyville Township. The secluded Lake County mansion in the woods once belonged to a local millionaire, Bruce Rouse, and his wife, Darlene, until they were brutally murdered in 1980. Their case was never solved. The mob bought up acreage and spent $50,000 converting the former residence into a high stakes casino that employed eighteen full-time people (all "well-fed") to accommodate the gambling high rollers (ROLLERS) and fun- loving clientele who parked their cars in the rear. (lions which "play") Reportedly, the outfit raked in $400,000 for just fifteen nights of casino gambling (gold bricks). According to Jahoda, political protection was supplied by former Lake County Sheriff Tom Brown (dirty hand), whose elected term spanned 1978 - 1982.

The Murder Mansion was an appropriate setting for what Rocky Infelise had in mind. He told the skittish Jahoda a few short hours before a well-planned murder to lead the unsuspecting Bobby Plummer up the flight of stairs to the second-floor casino and "just keep going." Plummer was a "revenue collector" for Ferriola, and a gambler of long standing in the northern suburbs. He also operated the Front Runner Messenger Service, a horse-betting parlor in Highwood belonging to Michael Posner, a protégé of Ferriola and a kingpin in Lake County mob vice operations. Plummer, of north suburban Lake Forest, was attacked on the stairway and savagely beaten to death. His body was found in the trunk of his wife's Lincoln Continental in a Mundelein Holiday Inn parking lot.

COLUMBO...Do you have Michael Posner's full name and aliases? If I need a break from Florida, I would like to visit Chicago. TIA

I think it's Michael Posner aka Michael Rubins and Irving Goldstein.

Thanks VMS!  Karen Martina is now on MySpace as Paulina in Curacao.  Curacao would make sense.  I found all of those obituaries last week from Curacao that named Wilfred Martina who is the man that we learned was the father of Freddy Martina.  There were a few of the regular Arubans, but many of the faces were new.  Valentijn is one of her friends.

Let's just assume that Freddy and Ernesto are half brothers, both born out of wedlock with the name Arambatzis.  Could I even dare to suggest that Ernesto, with his expensive private education, might be the illegitimate son of a wealthy Aruban citizen and that may be why he also has a link to the Florida neighborhood?  Shango could be protecting Freddy because he's Ernesto's sibling.

Hey Colombo - rehasing and revising an old theory based on your above post - please provide comments TIA!

Deepak takes a 'bath' and arrives at C&C 30 min before closing. Does nothing but get a 'yard' drink, and then goes to the car and sits in it with the door open. Why clean up to play cab driver? Joran is an addicted gambler. He leaves one casino, goes home to do some school work at 11pm, then sneaks out to go to just C&C? He's at C&C to get 'lucky', then has plans to gamble. Before C&C that night he called several of his other gambler buddies (Jaime, Guido, etc) to hitch a ride to C&C and then to one of the 'smaller casino's, like the one you mention in the article above. Maybe some met him there at this place, but just didn't give him a ride there (they need to be pinched - they all saw out of the corners of their eyes). Maybe there is also horse betting at this makeshift casino ("...There are no donkeys or mules [IMPLYING NO DRUGS OR DRUG RUNNERS] in chess only horses..." )

Codetalkers say Natalee enjoyed sitting at the casino tables ("...She was in the casino most of the days..) Joran takes her to a small casino out by Hooiberg. I don't know the map of Aruba well, while tons have been posted here, but the lighthouse story could be made up because in one of the Kalpoe statements he mentions seeing two vehicles - two that could have easily identified where he was at a particular time that night. They take a road from the lighthouse to this house ("until the house with the path but not of gold is entered"). This house could be a converted casino/rave joint. A place where the sons of elders (Guido, GVC, Koen, Sander, Joran, Dompig's son, etc) and the arawaks gamble together. Who owns this gambling house? A CASINO OWNER BABYLONIAN OR THE SON OF ONE. THE CARD THAT WAS BEING HELD. Kalpoes leave Joran and Natalee at this gambling house - most likely they are bored of playing cheuffer. Other gamblers can give Joran a ride back (or is this casino near Jorans house?)  But then something bad happens - the LIONS (could this be the bloods/crips on Aruba?) arrive at this house/rave/casino. They see a pretty young tipsy blonde and tell Joran to scram. Maybe taking his sneaker (or two). The answer lies on the stairway. Hooiberg has a stairway. "Look by the haystack (Hooiberg) in the small hours. They live in the conuco, but they are the only ones who can open the palace doors". Could the ones who live in the conuco be the arawaks that the elders kids play with? But the Arawaks are afraid of Dirtyhand. The arawaks who were also at the gambling house. They can crack open the case (palace = legal system) but are afraid. Gamblers are afraid of DirtyHand, Arawaks scared of Dirtyhand. Chewed up tongue doesn't want to be a cafone (snitch). He knows the consequences.  Paulus picks up Joran at 4am.  Casino house owner calls his dad. One was late for school, the other was on time for school. Two fathers, two sons. and a Dirtyhand gang leader they are all afraid of. Joran also afraid of Babylon father and son (mob perhaps). "It was a simple party at his house. He was there the whole time".

Could dirtyhand be a crips/blood gang leader? Was a call traced from Hooiberg to Santa Marta? Are we dealing with Colombian gangs?

Gang war downtown Oranjestad, Aruba
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I saw on another Aruba board about the gang war down by the Royal Plaza Mall last Saturday. Many arrested and they even made trouble at the hospital. A police car was hijacked and burnt too. Anyone have more info on this riot? I guess it says 100 or more hoodlums were involved.

Glenny: You had first of all this huge area of post communism, and of states which were in transition, and which were failing or disintegrating states. Then you have other people looking for markets. And the most striking example of the coming together of the new organized crime groups in Eastern Europe, and more established organized crime groups, was the meetings arranged by the couple of Italian lawyers, on the island of Aruba in the Caribbean, between the biggest gang in Moscow and the two largest drug cartels in Colombia.
But what happened in the early 1990s was that Colombians were selling as much drugs as they could into America, but America had reached its saturation point. Five percent of the world's population in America – forty percent of the world's cocaine consumption. And so the Columbians wanted to expand their markets in Europe. So they met with the Russians in Aruba, and devised the opening up of the new markets and new transit routes. One of those new transit routes was via Bulgaria, Albania and Croatia. The Bulgarian one, which was the most important was coming from South America to Varna, from Varna to Sofia, and then from Sofia to Belgrade. And this is one of the things the Zemun Clan was heavily involved with - the transit of cocaine from South America, to Belgrade and into the European Union. And, so, what you saw was, you first had the collapse of communism, and then you have globalization. The increased trade flows, the increased capital flows, the increased migratory flows; and those two things together were responsible for what you referred to earlier as the boom.
**********************************************
http://earthops.org/rus_mafia_carib.html
U.S. and European intelligence officials said they have reports of recent meetings between Russian organized crime figures and representatives of the Cali cocaine cartel on the islands of Aruba, St. Vincent and Antigua. The officials said the meetings appeared to be aimed at laying a foundation for long-term deals to supply weapons to the Colombians in exchange for cocaine to supply the rapidly growing market in Russia and the rest of the former Soviet Bloc nations.

In the past three months, the officials said, several Russian vessels have entered the northern Colombian port of Turbo and are believed to have unloaded shipments of AK-47 assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenades in exchange for drugs. It is perhaps a measure of the general level of violence in Colombia that authorities do not know whether the weapons went to Marxist guerrillas, right-wing paramilitary organizations or the Cali drug cartel.

CHECKMATE - GAME OF CHESS -

http://cocaine.org/colombia/cali.html

24 November 2004
"...In a few days, Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela, known as "The Chess Player" for his shrewdness in building Colombia's Cali cartel into the world's dominant cocaine supplier, will step off a Drug Enforcement Administration plane in Miami to face U.S. justice. Younger brother Miguel Rodríguez Orejuela, known as "El Señor," is likely to follow soon. So will begin one of the biggest drug and money-laundering cases ever prosecuted in Miami's federal courts.

"..."It's hard to believe," said Tom Cash, who ran the DEA's Miami office during the cartel's heyday. "These people were the untouchables in Cali." Cash credited the cartel's long run to its low profile and business acumen. "It's one of those proof positives that these cocaine traffickers were far from cowboys, much more like Wall Street businessmen who used their stealth and their brains and were extremely successful for a very long time," he said.
Now the Cali cartel has been replaced by smaller, more dangerous "baby cartels." Experts estimate as many as 300 mini cartels operate in Colombia.

"...Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela is a banker by trade, with a taste for soccer, Colombian poets, and friends in high places. Miguel Rodríguez Orejuela holds a law degree from a prestigious university and has been described as a Type-A workaholic.
Together they built a sophisticated, $7 billion-a-year empire that by the mid-1990s supplied 80 percent of the world's cocaine, according to the DEA. They came up with creative ways of hiding cocaine in cement pillars and frozen broccoli and pioneered sophisticated methods to launder drug cash through businesses that appeared legitimate. Chief among them, a chain of discount pharmacies called Drogas la Rebaja, which the Colombian government seized.

"...U.S. authorities say, the brothers were restructuring the family business, turning the day-to-day operations over to Miguel Rodríguez Orejuela 's lawyer son, William Rodríguez Abadia, 40. He is a fugitive.

William Rodriguez Abadia (He bleeped on the screen all the way to Bill’s lodgings?)

OK LaLa's get your pencils ready.

SS...Not Lala's but....Sorry can't assume they are half-brothers. Can't even work out how Lilian is even associated with the name. The Chamber records said she was Dutch, which means just that, or Aruban, therefore Dutch. Unless of course those records are wrong. The Aruba and Arambatzis is what I am having a hard time fitting...and the Zedan of course!

From our research Ernesto's mother has a Dutch mother and Greek father...I think...probably born out of wedlock, in Venuezuela. Good possibility he remained there after his mother came to the US. Could explain why we have a connection to the grandparents and not one to Mayra.

JMO.... Armin-Simian/Mirian pointed to Freddy to protect his cousin, Steve....Shango told how it was to protect 'Freddy'

Some people messed with a lot of people's minds and posted a lot of crap using each other's nicknames on the original Scared Monkeys site. I guess just for fun. I was also a victim of someone posting using my nickname and was harassing me with aliases of my e-mails too. (I know it was someone on Aruba.) I have no part in that, so don't ask me about "codetalking" and that BS.

Would some-one please show me something, anything, as to these two being half-brothers or step-brothers! I can't even find the first post that ties them together! All I see is a pic of them with an unknown man, that I can't tie to both of them. Thanks!

Caps said there are no Zedans...so why does Freddy insist on that last name?  OK, it might really be his name and he is using it to distance himself from his possible half brother. Too many unknowns at this point.  I would love to figure out how we came to the conclusion that Freddy and Ernesto are brothers.  Boy!  Would I really love to make that connection...if so things might just get interesting around here.

Morning Lala's...Caps said Zedan=0, Arambatzis=2

Lilian Regina, Robby and Freddy = 3

I am pretty sure that Arambatzis is Lilian's maiden name, otherwise would she have kept it after she married Mr Rodriguez? I have no idea where the Albert fits either, posters even commented about her having 3 names!

If Caps had said, Zedan=1  Abrambatzis=2   I would say bingo!

Where is Caps when you need him? LOL
