One thing to keep in mind...we have no way of knowing exactly what Joran and the Kalpoes actually said to Natalee...she may have thought she was being invited to a really cool party at a really cool guy's house on the island.  I know some will say there was no time to go to a party and then do all that needed to be done that night.  Let's see, we know what time they left CnC and the next time we know for certain that Joran's in one place was the 4 AM pick up at Mickey D's.  There is at least 3 hours there for a party and something bad to happen. So it's possible that she did go somewhere besides the lighthouse and the beach.  She could have been at the Sloots, an apartment, or another house. There is enough time if you disregard the so-called truth these perps have told.

Since Tylergal always maintained that Rudy Croes was the number one Dirty Hand... I will give her kudos to that idea. Why I haven't asked that question before is beyond me...senior moment for sure...but needless to say, Tylergal never wavered once in her thinking that Rudy fit this description.  Looking back we can see that Rudy's hands were all over the cover up and corruption.  He would be in a position to know everything and he would wield the power to coerce van der Straten, Janssen and all the others involved. Why he would want to protect the Sloots and get nothing is suspicious...he is seeing his island's livelihood put in jeopardy over 3 people that could never do anything for him in return.  Rudy may be powerful but he doesn't have any common sense.  He should have sacrificed the scapegoat and things would be back to normal on One Happy Island.

Lala'sMom ... I believe if the "powers that be" could have looked three years into the future and realized that one determined mother by the name of Beth Holloway would be a force to be reckoned with ... Joran van der Sloot would have been the sacrificial lamb and ... at that point in time it would never have occurred to the outside world that Paulus van der Sloot was being protected.

Being a minor ... Joran's accountability would have been minimal and ... Natalee's family would have had a measure of closure ... even if Natalee's remains could not be returned to them.

However ... by the time that Aruba clued in ... in was too late.  The inconsistencies in the statements of Joran, Deepak and Satish ... implicated not only them but ... Paulus and the sons of the elite.  Also ... it also implicated those within the Dutch/Aruban administrations who were aware or involved in the coverup.

LVR could be a supplier, but I believe the early reports.  I believe everyone knew and could find Joran because he was a dealer.  He kept money at his house (went to get cash...his book says $500), yet Paulus goes to the bank twice on Monday to deposit $100 ?? They might have even liked the idea of him being 17...might have liked it enough to give him a VIP pass....nothing would happen if he was caught.  The Senior Frog VIP party only showed older VIPs...wonder where the 17 yr olds were, in the photos.  Maybe they only appear for the tourists, but not the real parties.

I found this tidbit today and I wonder if it's true.  We had thought that ALE dove for the contents of the mystery cage, two days in a row.  OE had said that he watch the ship from the beach.  This is a different take on who the divers were.

Yep, they had already committed to the cover-up and there was no way they could involve the FBI.  There are too many things the FBI could have uncovered about the case, and Aruba. That makes me think the Mafia is running the island. Was Pustus working for the mob? Had he handled their contracts? Was Joran a drug runner and money launderer in the casinos?  Any government on the up and up would welcome our assistance and resources. Not Aruba.

I agree he was involved, and I agree LVR likely supplied the drugs. Did Joran and the K's bring Natalee to LVR's the night she was given the overdose prior to disposal? Was LVR the one Joran called the night Natalee was given the overdose and had the seizure? Why was his house searched (and I believe it was )if only due to having sold the drugs? Cripes all these questions.......I am starting to sound like Lalas .

I have believed that either Lorenzo or Steve Croes supplied the drugs that was fatal to Natalee and whichever one did was forced to help Joran with the disposal. Could Daury be Lorenzo? I know Daury sounds like Pustus but if Joran and LVR were that close this could also be the case.
