I know this is going to be gross but.......IMO ALE or whomever is there to pull him out might have tied that rope around the body to get it from the surf. You would need to support the body at it's thickest . If you grab arms and legs in that[.i] state of decay the skin will slip off like grabbing a gloved hand.

Has on a rope.  Could have been from other means or could have been tied up.  Looks blond headed.  Sad.   j/b

Rob - no, I haven't seen it on 24ora either.  I do know that Jossy confirmed yesterday that there was a report of an American being raped and he was going to get more information on it to Red.

well, here's the problem. You can not swim in this area if this is what happened. I had the bathing suit ripped off my body over there... very dangerous and I would never go in there again (but that shouldn't be a problem, cause I'm not going back to Aruba).

This is also where the father and son drowned a few years ago.

In looking further at the pics I think maybe it is a blackman. Do they windsurf in this area?
Do they tie their boards to themselves in case they fall off so as not to loose them? Maybe he just lost his board and drown? The surf is very rough there.

Yup,That guy looks dark skinned to me. I cannot think of too many reasons someone would tie rope around there body like that in the ocean,maybe sailing? He has been in that water for at least a week and whoever it is should of been already reported as missing.

Rob the only thing is hair is light or blonde. Is that how you see it?

Could be sand on his head.  The head appears to be pretty crushed.
The dead do not bleed, much at all.  There could have been some kind of something dislodged and collected blood there, but the blood is a bright color indeed.  The sun may have drawn some to the scalp area.  A rope would have pulled the skin off as well.  The harbor patrol in rivers use grappling hooks.  I might look at this.  j/b
