Right,we can agree to disagree but I don't think aruba splashing all those car accidents on their front pages is helping them not to have so many accidents.....seems to be getting worse.

Do you know in which direction deepak was driving in when he went around the block twice?And when he passed the MB kids who saw Natalee,wouldn't they be on the wrong side of the street to even see her in deepaks car?

Have heard about yeah....just awful. But rape doesn't only happen on Aruba....it certainly wouldn't be a reason for me not to go to Aruba....I just think there are prettier islands to visit so if I would want an island / beachholiday I'd rather visit one of those

we must boycot Aruba  also in Europe

Can you just imagine having an image of your loved one's remains displayed in such deplorable conditions in the local newpaper.  Such disrespect to the deceased and ... such disrespect to the deceased's family ...

 

It just was not necessary.  In terms of identification ... those remains were not recognizable.  Any identifiable feature such of the tattoo could have been described or ... an image provided.

I have a question for anyone- when the map from Karen Godessoff was put in the Forum, you all started working on the translation of it, then Klassend was ill, she came back, then Destiny and others started working on the letter to the people of Aruba...my question, did anyone ever complete the translation of the letter????

Johan,Since I have known him he has done much research and knows much more then 99% of the Dutch people following this case. You know what he said earlier today? Boycott Aruba!  Not only should the Americans Boycott but also the Dutch

I think they have their brand of journalism all wrong. Dead bodies hanging out of car windows, corpses on the front page, burnt cadavers and such... wrong, wrong, wrong!

and no wonder most on that island thinks there is no crime, these dummies just don't report it. First of all - still no report on the woman sexually assaulted at the end of last week, or the 38 year old assaulted at the Marriott. Funny how there is still someone assaulting women over at the Marriott and the polis are not surveying the area in hopes of catching him / them.

I remember years ago when we had just arrived on Aruba and we were standing in the lobby of the Hyatt and we were checking in. They always have the typical rags lying about. So, as we were waiting, I just picked up Aruba Today (I think it was that one) and there were the two dead American tourists on the front page. Horrifying to say the least. This was the father and son that drowned. The father tried to save one son, and got catch in the riptide, so the other son then jumped into help the father and he was promptly caught also. The son they tried to save - lived. So sad and horrible.
This all happened in front of the mother and her daughter. They saw it all and so did everyone else due to Aruba Today.

If they are not going to level with the people that actually live there - they will live in a bubble and have a very myopic view of the world -yet they all claim to be so worldly and over educated. LOL

Let's face it - these are not space aliens committing these crimes and returning to the outer limits of the solar system after the target tourists on Aruba. These are the sons of the people that live on Aruba. These people need to understand that it is their very own offspring that are hurting them and tarnishing their international image. Not us.

It is in English! As far as translating the area she is talking about I have no clue. Caps or another Aruban would be best to pinpoint the location if there is a actual location.
