Some of you know I've tried to help Becca McEvoy's Family and I've spoken up about my daughters rape case and the problems with our justice system.

Well, there is complete and utter disregard for the law here in the USA. It's within a fundamentalist sect/cult called the FLDS. We need to help the women and children. We need to act and help.

What can you do? Educate the public, donate to the below URL's. Write to our elected officials. Pray for them.

Dana Pretzer is covering this very subject tonight! http://scaredmonkeysradio.com/

Here are some urls:

Banking on Heaven: Polygamy in the Heartland of the American West (DVD) Starring: Jon Krakauer, Ruth Cooke, by Dot Reidelbach and Laurie Allen, Over the Moon Prod
Description:
Banking on Heaven is the inside story of the largest polygamous enclave in the United States, produced and narrated by Laurie Allen, who escaped a similar sect a age sixteen. Banking on Heaven exposes a culture that robs our welfare system, and uses mind control and fear to enslave thousands of Americans. The film reveals the politicians' failure to help, the Mormon Church's role and the plight of innocent members of the Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints (FLDS). This Heartfelt story is told by those still inside, and those who have escaped. And you, the taxpayer are financing this corrupt sect.

Polygamous sect member pleads not guilty to child sex assault

The Associated Press

Updated: 10/02/2009 11:01:30 AM MDT

SAN ANGELO, Texas » A member of a polygamist sect whose Texas ranch officials raided last year has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault of a child.

Raymond Jessop is one of 12 men from the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints indicted after the April 2008 raid at their ranch and the first to face trial.

The 38-year-old Jessop pleaded not guilty at a pretrial hearing Friday in San Angelo before Texas District Judge Barbara Walther. His trial is scheduled to start Oct. 26 in the tiny West Texas town of Eldorado.

Jessop faces a separate indictment on a bigamy charge that could be tried later.

The other 11 defendants in the case stemming from the raid at the Yearning For Zion Ranch will be tried separately over much of the next year.
