When Benjamin Franklin told a friend/stranger/passerby that he and his fellow nation-builders had given the country "a republic, if you can keep it" (the story may be fiction but the point is dead-on), this is what he had in mind: not that America would be overwhelmed by alien invaders, though that was certainly a possibility, but that well-meaning people might nibble and chew at the edges of the Constitution until its protections were frayed and the system destroyed, much to the surprise of those who had not even noticed the document's gradual destruction.  That's what happened when SCOTUS came up with this anticonstitutional decision; they nibbled around the edges and soon, those edges will be tattered away and the Constitution will no longer exist and we will be part of a one-world order overrun by people who hate individual and want everybody to be exactly alike except the elitists who will rule in a dictatorial fashion.  Think the have's of Hollywood and the have not's and if you have not been there and seen it, I hope you will go.  There are two classes:  those that pontificate from their thrones and those who can be (literally) beaten by their masters.  It is a slave-and-master society.
