Wreck - that lettering is actually from the factory and Destiny did call the K-Swiss people to find out about it.  I believe they said that those shoes (K-Swiss graffiti) were available in the 2nd quarter 2005 and in the USA only.  I think Florida was one of the areas they were available.  We do know that Joran was in Florida prior to Natalee going to Aruba.

Seriously??? K-Swiss put lettering on their shoes that look like "tagging" on the side of a subway car????

Hi Peaches, yes of course it is vandalism   

but the correlation between the shoe and his interest can not be denied. I can see him being attracted to that style of shoe due to his hobby.

I have not posted in a while so here it is…….
Paulus to Jan and others.
There was this blonde American female tourist that tried to get Joran and Geoffrey in trouble. They say some photos of her at the HI. They thought she was hot and any easy pick so they wanted to have a little fun with her at C and C’s. She ended up slapping Geoffrey and when Joran made his advances; she tried to file a report to the police against both of them.
Joran will point her out to me when we go to the casino. Joran is going to try and bring her over to my place before she leaves Aruba. If Joran can get her I think we should teach the little xxxx a lesson she won’t forget. Anita won’t be home and neither will my other boys; it will be perfect if he can get her. We’ll teach her a lesson and then bring her back to her hotel. She won’t remember a thing. You know; why not asked Freddie to come over and video tape our lesson.
We have done this to other tourist at least twenty times before and nothing has ever gone wrong.
But something bad happened didn’t it Paulus? Natalee was a virgin. There was blood on the mattress. Natalee was slipping in and out of consciousness when she stopped breathing. You all tried to revive her unsuccessfully. You know you could not report this to the police because jan van der Straaten was already there. You tried to find information on the internet about drug interaction. You called your buddy at the funeral home. He told you he would send someone over from the church and wait for you to bring Natalee; but you had to come up with some amnesia money.
You placed her in your truck, went to the ATM and then went to the cemetery.
The caretaker placed her temporarily in a crypt until everyone could figure out what to do with the body.
Later your truck was confiscated so no evidence could be found.
Later you found out the caretaker and Benson tried to collect Natalee’s reward money and you had both of them killed.
You thought you had plenty of time to secure your no body you have no case.
You got rid of Natalee’s body and clothing.
However; you left behind Natalee’s underwear that Anita found.
Aruba could not let it be known that a prominent judge, other officials and their sons were involved in date rape schemes. Aruba’s tourist business would go straight down the tubes.
Keon and Guido are your weakest links, so you had to get them out of the country. Jan is a bag of nerves and he got shipped to Bonaire.
Dompig said that he could solve the case, but it was bigger them him; especially when they threatened to include Michael in the rape and murder. Or was he, and they threatened to expose him.
You, Jan, Steve Croes, Nelson Oduber and Dompig since he was an original spokesman for the tourist industry and others were involved in a cover up scheme. You can’t bring closure now because you don’t have a body to return.
You all rushed to cover up but didn’t count on how much exposure Natalee would receive. Now it’s no body no tourists.

Always1, I understand what you're saying about the shoe and I agree. 

I looked through 98 pages of thumbnails based on a search for Thailand Clubs and Dutch in Thailand.  No Joran, but lots of westerners.  Needle in a haystack, but what the hay, I hoped there'd be something with some mystery person and a big wad of cash.   There is a Thailand Dutch Expat site, a Yahoo News Group that may have something to do with Dutch in Thailand, but both were in Dutch and you have to join to see pics.   I didn't go to a lot of websites because I didn't want to enter the world of Thai women looking for love. 
   Must be a shortage of men there.   

Tamikosmom, I couldn't even find a transcript of Kimberly's interview with Anita-in-Denial Van der Sloot, even over at RU, so I'll have to look tomorrow.  Long day for me, busy week, I'm tired, I'm sore and achy but I'm really glad GMBW enjoyed her time in the States (gotta watch those subways in big cities) and I'm glad Peter DeVries hasn't dropped the ball or this case. 

Oh, I have a pair of K-Swiss that are several years old, from before my leg got messed up and I was playing tennis.  If a pic of them would help in any way, let me know.

I compared the pictures at Diario with the one I posted and they have the same material on top of the body and the same people carrying it,so just pictures of 2 and not 3. This body appears to be much more decomposed then the one with no clothes. I suppose it's possible they were put in the water at the same time but one of them was more exposed to the elements. That doesnt mean they died at the same time or that they couldn't have been dead a few days and then placed in the ocean.

My guess is they were disposed of a few miles out and took a week or so to wash up on that shore. Not sure why the Naked guy had a nylon rope attached to him as it appears to of been cut. He may of been attached to that boat while they let the fish feed on him and then they cut him lose, or was tied up before he died. Both body's are showing there bones on the lower part of the body but not as much on the upper part. I seriously doubt this was some accident aboard some drug boat and they both drowned.

IIRC ... the trip to Miami by Paulus shortly following Joran's detention encompassed a telecommunication company and communications  that took place on the morning when Natalee Holloway went missing between the participants.  I assume Paulus was using his connections/power to ...

How gruesome for tourists to see and read such things.  I hate to see dead fish washed up on the beach, nevermind bodies!
It's curious to me, that while Ahata is so protective of it's tourism image, pictures of this nature continue to appear in their newspapers.

Yes, Rob.  That is why I wondered if Anita also got a pair when she was in Florida with him.  I thought Natalee might have grabbed her shoes to try to get out of the house since she would have had none.  That would explain the woman's shoe.  We have all seen Anita's artwork.  Graffiti would be an improvement.
